The full name is a little longer than the title, but here are my thoughts on the LAWLESS Forget the Filler Skin-Plumping Line-Smoothing Perfecting Cream. See? Way longer, so let's just call it an all-encompassing perfecting cream that operates as a moisturizer and makeup primer. I might just be aligned with the beauty loving part of the universe because while typing out this review, it sold out on the Sephora Canada website. That might give you an idea of where this review is going to go!

Cheekbone Beauty Complexion Pencil in Fair 1
Coming in today with a quick review of the complexion pencil by Cheekbone Beauty! I grabbed this in my birthday haul when I was getting my free gift from Sephora, so I've had over a month of using it and thought I would pop in here and give a swatch and initial thoughts on it. This is my second Cheekbone Beauty item, the first being a lip gloss. I hope to support them more as an Indigenous woman-owned Canadian brand, but also because I hear good things about their other offerings. So if you have tried them, please let me know what else I should try!

Nectarine Petal by Clean Reserve
I'd say smell is probably my favorite sense, because I wholeheartedly tether people, occasions, and specific periods of my life to certain scents and smells. It's instant nostalgia. I am lucky to have received this perfume to review a while back. I originally posted about it on my Instagram, but I think it deserves a spot on my blog.

Farmacy Farm to Face Favorites Set - Mini Reviews
As promised, I'm back in action! I thought I might start with a batch of mini skincare reviews and first impressions from a recent set I purchased from Sephora. It's still available, but also the products are all permanent items from Farmacy. I always love sets like these since they are an easy and usually more affordable way to test out new products.

Fenty Beauty Mattemoiselle Lipstick in Candy Venom
During Sephora's spring sale, I picked this up at a steep discount. I don't know if that means this formula is being discontinued, but there are still a few shades available online and your local store may still have some shades in stock. This is the first time I'm actually dipping my toes into the Fenty Beauty line. Took me long enough! And did you hear that Sephora Canada is pledging to make 25% of their brands be BIPOC-owned by 2026?! Great to see!
Let's get into my thoughts and swatches of the Mattemoiselle formula and the shade Candy Venom!

Yes To Tomatoes Clear-Looking Skin
I was sent three Yes To products to test and review. Two are from the Tomatoes line and one is from the Grapefruit line. The products are the Blemish Absorbing Rollerball, Triple
Threat Blemish Solution, and the Vitamin C Glow-Boosting Paper Mask. All
of these work together to help conquer any blemishes that pop up and brighten your skin.

Dr. Teal's Melatonin Formula Epsom Salts and Foaming Bath
It's no secret by now that I love Dr. Teal's products. I've had numerous bags of their epsom salts and tried several of the formulas. This melatonin one is their newest offering! I have the melatonin formula in both the epsom salts and foaming bath. I was sent these for an honest review and have been testing this specific formula for weeks now. For the record and minor spoiler alert, I really don't think you can go wrong with any of the Dr. Teal's offerings!

Juvia's Place The Nudes Palette
Today, I'm sharing the first of four Juvia's Place palettes I got over the summer. It's one of my favorites of what I picked up, so I thought I'd start with it. I'm talking about The Nudes palette. It's small with only six shades, but mighty. The brand offers a few different smaller palettes like this, but this one felt the most versatile for me both alone and working with other palettes in my collection. Of course this was before the Taupes version came out, so that's on my wishlist now!
There's often a sale or discount code. At the time of publishing this post, this palette is on for $9 US. Not that the normal price tag of $14 US is bad by any means! Continue reading for my thoughts and swatches.

Juvia's Place Blush and Highlighter Brush Bundle
To start off my Juvia's Place reviews, I thought I'd go in head first with the blush bundle and highlighter brush. The brush comes with the bundle! Below are my thoughts and swatches of all three - the brush, the Serafina blush, and the Bella blush. Juvia's Place is a black female-owned (Chichi Eburu is her name) business who gives a portion of their proceeds to minority-led initiatives, according to their website.
Let me know if you've ordered from Juvia's Place before and what you got. Have you heard of this brand before? I'm happy to have some of their items in my collection now and can't wait to share the rest of my two orders with you. They're all eyeshadow palettes, because I couldn't resist and also I obviously think I have more than two eyes at the amount of eyeshadows I own. But those are for later days, for now let's get to the blushes!

Physicians Formula Butter Eyeshadow Tropical Days Palette
This purchase was a happy accident. While my husband was out getting our groceries, I had him look for the Physicians Formula x Weylie face palette and the worker at Shoppers lead him to this instead. My husband wasn't too sure, so he grabbed it anyway to err on the side of caution. It's obviously not the Weylie palette, but I did eventually get that and it will be featured in another post! I wasn't sure that I would keep this, but then I looked up reviews and saw quite a mix. I like when that happens sometimes and like to see which side of the road I end up on.
These skipped my radar somehow and I didn't even know these existed. It's not what I originally had in mind on that initial shopping trip, but I'm happy to have it. So yep, a happy accident! This format comes in two options - Tropical Days and Sultry Nights. I'm happy to have Tropical Days, because I think it is more up my alley in shade selection. Now onto the shades, formula, and swatches!

Fresh Beauty Rose Deep Hydration Serum and Lip Cream
I was given the opportunity to try these products to review from Fresh Beauty c/o Influenster. I've tried their Soy Makeup Removing Face Wash and their lip balms, but that has been my extent into the brand before now. I didn't hate the soy face wash, but it didn't blow me away. I suppose it just didn't wet my whistle enough to dive in deeper to Fresh's skincare. The joke is on me though, if their skincare is as good as one of the products you're about to read about is. Needless to say, I now want to try more of the rose line and maybe the Sugar Strawberry Exfoliating Face Wash. I'm getting ahead of myself. Let's see what it is about these products that has made me want to add more Fresh Beauty to my beauty wishlist!

Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink in Lover
Are you working from home right now and have numerous Zoom calls or meetings each day and you want to make getting ready for them a breeze? These liquid lipsticks can definitely help. I'm telling you that you can put these on for your first meeting at 9am and they'll still be going strong after lunch and coffee breaks for your 4pm conference call. They don't budge!
I have five of these bad boys now and don't even think that I don't have my sight on others to get in the future! I've already featured Loyalist, Heroine, and Dreamer. You can click those to take you to the related post or you can click the "Maybelline" tag to see everything on one page. After this, I do still have to get around to talking about Pioneer. My personal favorite is Loyalist, but Lover is definitely up there.

Neutrogena Bright Boost Skincare
I was recently given the opportunity to try Neutrogena's Bright Boost line of skincare. Having dry skin, I'm always looking for the words "hydrating" or "brightening" and different variations of the two. My first point I will make is the blatantly obvious one- this line is so darn aesthetically pleasing. I mean, look at that packaging. Maybe it isn't so stunning if you don't like pink but for me, this is not a line that I want to shut away somewhere. I want it standing prominently on my vanity. Well, at least the products that work for me. So let's get into that!

Buxom Full-On Plumping Lip Polish Gloss in Katie
I picked this up at Ulta while home for Christmas! I'm pretty sure it first came on my radar when I saw makeupbytiffanyd wearing it in one of her YouTube videos and it caught my attention. I have a shades from the Plumping Lip Polish line of Buxom, including the one that so many of us beauty lovers fawn over - White Russian. I don't always reach for plumping lip products, because I just don't feel them necessary in my everyday life nor do I enjoy the feeling/tingling of them all of the time.
I will say that compared to other plumping products I have tried before, the tingling of these isn't as strong. You can still feel it working and the coolness effect. Katie is going to be a gorgeous shade for spring and summer. See below for my thoughts and swatches!

Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Cleanser and Retinol Oil
I was pumped up to get the opportunity to test part of Neutrogena's Rapid Wrinkle Repair line of products. I did put a short form review up on my Instagram a while back, but that was more of a first impressions type because it was due within two weeks of testing. However, this product does promise results in as little in one week. Below are my original reviews with any edits that I have thought about after trying these two products for a longer duration.
I was sent the Prep Cleanser and Retinol Oil. The line also carries a night moisturizer, eye moisturizer, serum, and a few others. Here are my thoughts on these two!

E.L.F. Cosmetics Poreless Putty Primer
I was so excited to find this while I was back home, because I have yet to find it in stock anywhere here in Canada. It was part of my Ulta haul and I think I got some pretty nifty things. I'm going back home at Christmas and I'm both tempted to visit Ulta again or ignore it for the sake of my wallet. It's full of my kryptonite! Haha!
Now while this is supposed to be a dupe for the Tatcha Silk Canvas primer, I can't compare it since I don't own it. Well, I have a small sample but I don't find that fully worthy enough for a comparison. I wanted this first in hopes to save some money if I like it and splurge on the Tatcha if I didn't. So am I still tempted to splurge? Let's find out!

Kylie Cosmetics Lip Kit in Kristen
Usually having zero interest in the Jenners and Kardashians, this purchase was based solely on my addiction to liquid lipsticks and I fell hard for this shade when I first saw swatches for it. So with that said, this was my first Kylie Cosmetics purchase. I bought it at Ulta when I went home back in May and I am finally getting around to getting this review with swatches up. I didn't even know they carried the brand until I walked in and it was the first display I saw!
So this is my first Kylie purchase, but will it be my first and only? Did the brand win me over? Keep reading to find out! I'll also compare it to a few other liquid lipstick formulas in my collection.

Aveeno Oat Masks with Pomegranate and Pumpkin
I was recently sent these two Aveeno masks to review. Of course I was happy to have been chosen, because I adore Aveeno products. It doesn't hurt that I enjoy face masks and that the packaging on these gave me straight up fall vibes. Throw oats, pomegranate, and pumpkin into the mix and I was a happy camper when I opened this delivery.
I did end up liking one of these more than the other and I'm surprised by which one it is. Both certainly have their merits, but I do think the results of one outlasted the other. Find out which one below!
