Birthday Sephora Haul

The minute my birthday gift became available, I made the purchase. Having a July birthday comes in handy when it comes to the Sephora birthday gifts because they always seem to do a small overhaul on the gifts available from the first half of the year. This go-around, they added a new VIB and Rouge offering so I took advantage of that.

So I fired up my Rakuten to get some money back on my purchase, took advantage of the 500 points back offer, got my birthday freebie, and sat back with that post purchase high. 😄 It's not my birthday yet, but I see nothing wrong with starting the celebrations a little early.

It was suggested by Jayne and Janine on Instagram that I needed to get Heavy Cream after I sang praises for Vanilla Skin by Phlur. Sol de Janeiro brought back 39 for a limited time and I had to grab a backup! Now I can stop holding onto my old one like it is sacred and actually use it this summer. I wish they had brought back the body cream, but I will take what I can get. 

The birthday gift lineup is pretty decent this year. I already had similar items or the actual items from the gift sets I would have been interested in, so I was grateful when the Rare Beauty set popped up. I never hesitate on Rare Beauty and I had been wanting to try the tinted lip oil. The blush is in a color I don't have. With their blushes, a little goes a long way and these smaller sizes can last so long.

I had talked about the Cheekbone Beauty lipglosses ages ago and Maddie from Toronto Beauty Reviews said the complexion pencils were her favorite. And yes, I remembered from way back when! When y'all recommend I try something, it may take me a good long while to get to it, but I always remember. 💖
