My first review of a company.

Currently listening: My Same by Adele
Currently drinking: water
Currently feeling: lazzzzy

I just got an order from All Beauty. I absolutely recommend this company and I will tell you why!

Do you ever buy a MAC pigment to find that the shade does not work for you? Or how about you get one that you only use once in a blue moon and find it hardly worth the cost because of that? Or maybe you have yet to try pigments and want to see what all of the fuss is about? All Beauty offers sample sizes of MAC pigment. It's enough to get a few looks out of it and see if it is worth buying the bigger sized one.

They offer other things, as well! Besides a sample size of Vanilla pigment, I also bought a mixing spatula and five little jars. The spatula will allow me to take other pigments and mix them to get even more colors. With all of this, they even sent me a sample of another pigment to try. I was not expecting that at all and it was a lovely little surprise.

They are quick to respond with emails, if any problems or whatnot occur. The customer service was great and the girls are extremely nice. All of this and the cost of product and shipping is completely affordable! I will be shopping there again. Absolutely! /5!

XOXO
P.S.- I had an excellent time on my vacation! I will be posting about that this week! And I might give the site another facelift, so be on the lookout! :)

Hiatus

Currently watching: Murder, She Wrote
Currently thinking: about what to pack
Currently feeling: worn out

I know I said I would update today, but it is going to have to wait until Friday or so. Time has escaped me and I have to pack for a trip. Tomorrow morning, I leave for Quebec City to celebrate my third wedding anniversary. :) I get one night in a warm Hilton hotel room and then on Wednesday night, I'm going to be freezing my tail bone off in the Ice Hotel! Should be interesting!

So I'm going to be on hiatus until Friday or possibly Monday. Thanks for understanding! Have a fabulous week!

Monday will be my first real company review where I will be reviewing my experience with All Beauty. So stay tuned!

I'm sorry.

Currently listening: BRITNEY!
Currently drinking: water
Currently feeling: tired

I must apologize for not updating yesterday! I was so excited for my Pussycat Dolls/Britney Spears concert and getting ready for it that I barely even got online to check my email! Here is my review of the concert! :)

The Pussycat Dolls
I'm a pretty big PCD fan. I adore their music. Melody (girl on the left) has an amazing voice and sometimes I'm annoyed that she does not have more of the spotlight. They did all of their hits (plus newer songs) and they were an impressive opening act. It worked perfectly with Britney's set- burlesque group into a circus performance. Some people don't like their cover to Jai Ho from Slumdog Millionaire, but I actually like it. It sounded great live!

If I'm remembering correctly, this is the set list:

Buttons
I Don’t Need A Man
Elevator
Bottle Pop (Dance)
Stickwitu
I Hate This Part
Wait A Minute
Whatcha Think About That
Don’t Cha
When I Grow Up
Jai Ho!

The Legendary Ms. Britney Spears
Holy cow! From the minute that PCD left the stage, the circus acts pretty much started. There were circus performers on both ends of the circular stage! They were amazing. Perez Hilton had the benefit of doing the opening introduction in a filmed scene...that was interesting. Britney looked beautiful when she came out. During a few songs there were magic tricks and more circus acts. She floated on a big umbrella, a big picture frame, and two men who interlocked their bodies. There were quite a few costume changes.

I really enjoyed the Bollywood remix of Me Against the Music. The dancing and outfits worked great for it! My only complaint is the price of the merchandise. Every single shirt was pretty much $40+. Her programs are $30. Tracksuits were $160-200. Though, there are some cheaper things. A tote bag was $20. There were collectible cups that are $2-3. And you can buy a feathered masquerade mask for $5. I can't remember the rest!

The set list was:

Perez/Parade Intro
Circus (Funky Remix)
Piece of Me
Radar
Ooh Ooh Baby/Hot as Ice
Boys
If U Seek Amy
Me Against the Music (Bollywood)
Freakshow
Get Naked
Breathe on Me/Touch of My Hand
Do Something
Slave
Toxic
Baby One More Time (Remix)
Womanizer (Extended Remix)
Circus Reprise: The Bow

It's orgasmic.

Currently watching: The Simpsons

Currently feeling: a headache is coming on

I'm a huge fan of NARS. I have their blush in Orgasm and it's a perfect shade of pink. So I just had to try NARS lip gloss in Orgasm.

NARS Lip Gloss in Orgasm
The color is excellent. It's a nice pale pink that I think would look good on just about everybody. The lip gloss is a perfect consistency, where it is nice and opaque like a lipstick with just a hint of shine to make it a gloss. It moisturizes the lips quite nicely, but I do find it to be a little sticky. So when my hair is blowing in the wind, it will stick to my lips. That is well worth over-looking, though. It pairs wonderfully with the blush that I mentioned above. It is a great lipstick to be paired with a smoky eye.

TGIF!

Currently watching: The Simpsons
Currently tired: from a hour-long workout
Currently feeling: happy that it's the weekend now!

So I found this headband on F21's site. Now normally they have really cute headbands, but what on earth is this monstrosity? It looks like they want you to channel Minnie Mouse or Princess Leia! One flower would be fine, but I really don't see the need for two. Tacky!

My lip gloss is poppin'.

Currently watching: Rachael Ray Show
Currently annoyed: they changed facebook again
Currently feeling: creative

I was told by a friend to try the Smashbox O-Gloss. I had originally thought about trying it, but kept talking myself out of purchasing it. After her glowing review, I decided to take the plunge and get it.

Smashbox O-Gloss
This gloss claims to give you a perfect shade of pink. It's a clear formula but has such things as Goji Berry-C Complex and ginkgo biloba in it. It works with your skin's chemistry to give you a shade all of your own. Some people complain that they don't agree with the shade that it turned for their skin tone. Honestly though, if you have olive skin, you should not wear glossy pink makeup. The formula is not sticky and it turns to the shade almost instantly. I liked the shade that it turned for me...a nice light pink that looked perfectly fine with my fair skin. Do I like it enough to buy it again and again? Possibly. The price is a little steep for a small tube of lip gloss. However, it does do what it says it will and it is almost like a science experiment while watching it change colors right before your eyes. Or...maybe I'm just strange like that!

XOXO

All I Ever Wanted

Currently reading: Gossip Girl- It Had to Be You
Currently feeling: excited

First off, Kelly's new album is out today. I am waiting on my autographed copy to come in the mail. And my husband is bringing the deluxe version home with him tonight! I don't plan on using the autographed copy at all, so I had to get the deluxe one. Yay! :)

Now on to today's post after my blatant Kelly advertising! :D Which reality tv star was spotted leaving LAX in the following ensemble?

Whitney Port of The Hills and The City fame!

Oh yes...backless t-shirt, glasses too big for her, holey capris, and all! I'm feeling the hot pink bag, though. :) I just wish that someone who got such a dream job at DVF would apply that style to her wardrobe. You just cannot step out in this ensemble and be taking seriously in the fashion industry...or anywhere for that matter. Well, maybe the gym...

Macarons are <3.

I have a new obsession! I had never tried macarons (not to be confused with macaroons that involve coconut) and I decided that this past weekend would be the time to try them! The chocolate ones were so amazing. I found this amazing French bakery in Toronto called Patisserie La Cigogne. I did get some at two other bakeries- La Bamboche and Thoror. I found that La Cigogne has a lead on them, though. They are expensive little treats, but they are very worth it!

Urban Decay Primer Potion (Sin).

Currently listening: Devour by Shinedown
Currently drinking: water
Currently feeling: lazy

Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin
I am a big fan of the original potion, but this one has won me over as well. The color is a shiny champagne. While the original can also be used as concealer, this one cannot. However, it can be used as an eyeshadow by itself. It can be paired with several colors while giving them a nice sheen. I think it looks great with Urban Decay's cream eyeshadows in Rehab and Midnight Rodeo. Considering that it can slightly change the colors of your existing eyeshadows, be used as an eyeshadow by itself, and still acts as a primer makes it a triple threat!

First off, I'm really excited that Nicole is expecting another baby. Harlow is absolutely precious and her sibling is only bound to be the same! Rumor has it that Nicole and Joel are one step closer to walking down the aisle to make it all official!

P.S.- Anyone watching the premiere of Top Model tonight? The drama level is going to be insane! American Idol was too good last night for me to only choose three to go through to the next round. Sadly, that means I'll be saying goodbye to some of my favorites unless they go to the Wild Card round. Has your favorite already made it? :)

Tuesday Blahs...

Currently listening: Long Shot by Kelly Clarkson
Currently reading: Breaking Dawn...still
Currently feeling: annoyed

Ok, so I made that post about Ikea tins that I bought the other day. The sizes and prices were perfect, but I decided the neon colors were not going to work with the decor that I am looking for. I'm wanting a soft pink and flowery bathroom and I need it all to tie in together. Therefore I did something that I have been doing since college. It's great idea if you want to change something you have instead of buying something new. I'm all about recycling and reusing!

I take a tin or a canister and measure it. Then, I find some really pretty wrapping paper and cut out the right size. You can use glue or tape to paste the paper on the canisters. In college, I'd have an empty Pringles can or something like that and cover it up like this. It made for a great container to hold my loose colored pencils. :)

To give you an idea, here is a before and after shot of my bathroom counter. Click on pictures to go to my Flickr for bigger images, if you'd like. :)
