I was born in a leap year, but I don't think I have ever met anyone born on a Leap Day! Are any of you celebrating a birthday today? I've always been fascinated by how we get an extra day every four years. Happy Leap Day!
Now for my favorites of this month...
* MAC Kissable Lipcolor in Enchantée (which is currently available again) - You can see my swatches of Enchantée and Flaunting It here. You can see my swatch of Woo Me here.
* Make Up For Ever Full Cover concealer
* Laura Mercier Tinted Moisturizer
* Chanel Paradoxal nail polish - One of the only polishes I've worn to garner a "Your nails look nice today!" comment from my husband. Yay!
* Maybelline Tough as Taupe Color Tattoo cream shadow - You can see my review and swatch here.
What were some of your favorites this month? It can be your favorite perfume, song, makeup...whatever you like. I love hearing about what people have been enjoying. Have a great rest of the day!

Sephora 500 Pt. Perk- Tarte Intro to Amazonian Clay
This weekend I dropped in to spend some of my points at Sephora. Normally I hoard them until something good comes along. By that, I mean that I wait until a set usually has a full-size product or two. I jumped at the chance to grab this kit, because it had not only has two full products but also deluxe samples of others. It doesn't hurt that one of the items is a LipSurgence Lip Tint since I love them!

MAC Brule vs. Wet 'n' Wild Brulee Eyeshadow
I got Wet 'n' Wild's Brulee eyeshadow during my latest trip to the States and I just wanted to do a quick comparison post with MAC's Brule!

Aside from being similar in name, they are very closely related to each other in shade. I'd say MAC's Brule is a bit more yellow-based, while W'n'W's Brulee is more pink-based once swatched on skin. The difference in shade and texture is nowhere near as different as the price range. MAC's will cost you anywhere up to $18 CAN, while I found most stores to sell W'n'W eyeshadow singles for $0.99-1.99!
I find both blend easily, though Brulee is slightly more powdery. I think both are great and if you are need of a highlight color like MAC's Brule, I'd say save your money and purchase Brulee instead. The differences are far too minimal between them to really need to spend the extra money, in my opinion.

Lush's Do Knot Disturb - Valentine's Day Gift
Lush puts out different gifts and products for different holidays each year and while I'm not the biggest fan of Lush, the pre-packaged gifts are usually a great deal. As a matter of fact when I do get Lush, it is mostly during the holidays to take advantage of these deals. I very rarely (as in maybe once a year) buy their individual items. I find Lush to be a little hit and miss, so I like the idea of getting a bit of discount in getting these special sets.

To my knowledge, these are all permanent items. This set is still available for purchase online! Items inside include: Soft Coeur massage bar, French Kiss bubble bar, Sex Bomb bath bomb, and Lust soap.

Valentine's Day 2012
It's not my favorite holiday, but it circles around two of my favorite colors and one of my favorite topics- pink, red, and love. I'm not sure why my husband spoiled me so much this year (and I'm certainly not complaining), but my ottoman looked like an explosion happened at the Barbie factory with all of the pink items laying there!
I am not going to delve into all of the little things, though they are equally as thoughtful. I thought I'd use this post to share the bigger items that I received that really took me by surprise. If you don't care for this type of post or enjoy gushy feelings of L.O.V.E., then by all means you can wait until my next post and scroll past this one. I won't be offended! ;)
^ He packaged it all by himself and did such a beautiful job! And the double hearts was the symbol of our wedding. ♥

Homemade Peanut Butter Cups
I made my husband a batch of these for Valentine's Day, so I thought I'd share the recipe. It's so simple that it's hardly a recipe, though! I use the word "recipe" lightly, because you really just go with the flow on how much you want of each item. These are not meant to taste exactly like Reese's and if I can be completely honest with you, these are way better. They taste less processed. I think these would be great to make any time of the year as a treat!
What You'll Need:
cupcake liners
chocolate (I used 4 Hershey chocolate bars, but chocolate chips are fine to use)
peanut butter
powdered sugar
*what I used makes 6 oversized PB cups!
Instructions:
1. Melt half (in my case, it was 2 bars) the chocolate in the microwave until it melts, which should take around 90 seconds. Stir halfway through the heating.
2. Put the liners in a muffin pan and fill each with about a tablespoon of chocolate. Smooth it out. Put the pan in the refrigerator for 10 minutes to let the chocolate solidify.
3. While the chocolate is cooling, get your peanut butter mixture ready. I used around 3/4 cup of peanut butter with 1/4 cup powdered sugar. If you want more peanut butter, then go for it and up the amounts of both the PB and powdered sugar! Mix it all together.
4. Get the other half of the chocolate and repeat step 1.
5. Spoon the peanut butter on top of the cooled chocolate. I used a tablespoon.
6. Now take the remaining melted chocolate and spoon another tablespoon over the peanut butter, covering all of it.
7. Put the pan back in the fridge for another 10 minutes. That's it! These can be stored in room temp. or in the fridge. I added a little powdered sugar on top for decoration but that's optional, of course.
Hopefully, that was fully understandable. I'll be happy to answer any questions, if you don't understand a step. My husband loves them and according to him I was "lucky" that he even let me have a bite of one as he does not want to share them. I'd call that a success!

Urban Outfitters Haul
I just had to get the throw pillow the minute I saw it. There was no talking myself out of it, because my love of polar bears is too strong. Yay for it being on clearance! And I really wanted a cute backpack, because I think it will come in handy for future trips. I usually carry a tote bag to carry my laptop, iPad, and other various things and it gets so heavy. I'm hoping this will save my arms!
The heart-shaped sunglasses were an impulse buy, but I have been seeing them on a lot of fashion blogs and they are just adorable. Everything that I bought is on clearance! Now to wait on them to arrive...the hardest part! :)
^ polar bear throw pillow, Kimchi Blue printed backpack, and Sweet Heart sunglasses.

Sleek Divine Palette in Storm: Swatches
This is my second Sleek palette and honestly, I'm hooked on these little things. They pack a mean punch in terms of color payoff and are easy to blend. You can also see my swatches from the Sunset palette here. I think that if you're looking to get a Sleek palette and prefer mainly neutrals with a pop of color, then this would be the one to get. The two matte browns work wonderfully together for a non-shimmery look and remind me a bit of Naked and Buck from the Urban Decay Naked palette. Sleek ships their products internationally.

Eyeko Line and Shine in Plum & Electric Purple
This is one of the items I received in my latest swap. I love Eyeko products. I do suggest checking them out. If you spend over $20 US and use an ambassador code, you get a free gift with your purchase. My code is "E4401" and yes, I do get a little bit of commission if you use it. However, you're getting a free product! It's a win-win situation for both of us. Though it is absolutely fine if you don't want to use my code! And if you like something, act fast because they are always changing their range and stock.
I received the Line and Shine eye pencil in Plum and Electric Purple. And like I stated above, act fast if you like something. I believe these pencils have been discontinued already! Though you might be able to find them online and in stores that stock Eyeko products.

UK Swap with Amelia!
This is my second time swapping with Amelia! I absolutely love doing swaps with her, because we both get things that we may not be able to find in our countries. Well that and it's always fun to chat back and forth with her! I'm very happy with everything and I can only hope that my package to her can stand up to this level. I opened this last night and since my Patriots lost, I chose the right day to open it as it made yesterday a little easier to swallow! :)
^ Everything was packaged nicely in these two Soap & Glory bags. I really wanted a wash bag, because we travel a lot and I'm sick of sharing one with my husband. Ha! This one is the perfect size for my face wash, shampoo, etc. Very happy!

Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blushes in Rose Petal & Orchid Hush
I picked up these two blushes at Shoppers while they were on sale. The thing that intrigued me about these blushes is the texture. The colors are not exactly unique, but the "bouncy" texture certainly is!

^ Rose Petal got nicked during the opening. I find these incredibly hard to get open!
