Is June really almost over? Really? 2010 is going by ridiculously fast. I feel like it should still be January! Oh, I also changed my page a little bit and added Pages at the top. Please let me know if it does not load properly for you! Still a work in progress!
Korres Guava lip butter- I talk about them here. I can't put this one down!
NARS Laguna bronzer- I still plan on doing a bronzer round-up of the ones that I own. This one has a permanent place on my makeup tray while the others are tucked away in a drawer, if that tells you anything.
MAC Blonde's Gold pigment- A swatch of it is here. This looks great as a neutral wash of color, a highlight on the inner corner, or as a lid color. It's completely versatile in looks and I have worn it in every look I've worn since I got it!
Urban Decay Rockstar 24/7 liner- I like the little added pop of color it gives to a neutral eye. It's a nice substitute when I don't want to use my usual black liner. Swatch is here.
Sephora by OPI's I'm Wired nail polish- Just a pretty and bright coral color! I love coral in the summer. At the moment, I have this on my fingers and toes. It's such a fun color to wear on the toes! Looking back, this was in my favorites last June also. That says something!
Making Faces by Kevyn Aucoin- I'm on a makeup book kick lately and of the three that I have recently bought, this one really sticks out. There are a lot of looks, tips, and tricks in the book. I really think it is great for beginners and pros alike. I'm looking forward to reading more of his books and about him.
Also, tomorrow is a holiday here (Canada Day)! I'm not too certain that I'll have time to post until Monday, simply because my husband has both Thursday and Friday off. So we'll be running around, doing errands, and taking advantage of the holiday weekend! I get double the holidays with Canada Day and Independence Day. Yay!
I've been working on the next contest and getting the prizes and rules together. I can assure you that the contest post will be going up next week, if I don't manage to update again this week. So stick around and send your friends! ;) Have a lovely weekend!

Rimmel Lasting Finish Lipstick Swatches & 500 posts!
I've done a few of these swatches in individual posts, but I thought I would show them all in one place. So here is an update of the Rimmel lipsticks that I own!

My favorites are: Airy Fairy, Alarm, Pink Blush, and Vintage. I like Paradise, Asia, and Celeb, but I find that I reach for those less often. I find Paradise and Asia to be seasonal lipsticks for fall and possibly winter.
Airy Fairy- A mauve pink that I think would flatter a lot of skin tones.
Paradise- I think the only reason I don't reach for this is that I don't think it suits me. It can look a bit on the brownish side on the lips.
Asia- Again, this color also comes out a brownish pink. Not as brown as Paradise, though. I reach for this mostly in the fall.
Alarm- Very similar to MAC's Russian Red. It's a bluish red and makes your teeth look whiter (a plus!). My go-to during the holiday season! On the swatch, I tried to sheer it out a bit on one side so that you could see how versatile the color can be.
Pink Blush-My newest addition to my collection! And my favorite Rimmel color that I own! It's just a gorgeous light pink that might be more doable for some that couldn't pull off the Viva Glam Gaga lipstick.
Celeb- A medium pink color. There are cool undertones and I don't think it would really suit those with warm undertones.
Vintage- While I love the color of this, the texture takes some getting used to. Unlike the others, this has a bit of glitter in it. The problem is that you feel it. It looks good on the lips, though.
I talk more about the formula and product in this post.
This post is my 500th post here. Yay! Thanks for sticking with me along the way. :)

Wow, I made it to 100 followers! That, of course, means that a giveaway is coming up! I'm still picking out prizes for it, so be on the lookout for a post on it soon. :) And thank you all for being so patient with me and my lack of blogging last week. I was going through a "blah" period, had two birthday parties in one day, experienced my first ever earthquake, and was busy carrying my spring cleaning into summer because I'm a bad procrastinator. Ha! I'm back now, though!
Thank you all (new and old followers) for thinking that my little ol' blog is worthy enough to be followed. I appreciate each and every one of you for taking the time to read what I have to say and I look forward to getting to know you more. You each make my day a little more special.♥
Stay tuned for the next giveaway!

MAC PRO Haul
I decided I wanted the Life's a Breeze lip pencil from the To the Beach Collection and I knew I wanted two other goodies from the MAC PRO store downtown. I happened to pick up the last Life's a Breeze lip pencil they had! I took that as a sign that it was meant to be mine. ;)

A really nice light pink liner! Given my addiction to pink lipsticks, I wanted to give this a try.

Cantaloupe is an orange-based blush that is only available at the Pro store locations. On pale skin, it should be applied lightly. I wore it under Orgasm to give it an added pop of color and I really liked it that way.

Blonde's Gold is also only available at Pro locations, but if you can get it...please try it! What a great color! This is such a perfect shade for a neutral eye, but looks great with color too. I much prefer this to the Tan pigment I picked up a few weeks ago. I paired it with Nehru yesterday and love-love-loved it. This just might replace Melon as my favorite pigment!

Recent Pictures
Thought I would share a few of my recent photographs that I took. Nothing special, but I like how they turned out. :) If you click them, it takes you to the bigger ones on my Flickr account. Also, I do update my photo blog from time-to-time!
If you have a photo blog or a Flickr, do feel free to link to it. ♥

Pink Pout and Pink Blush Swatches
*UPDATE: To see how Pink Pout compares to MAC's Snob, see this post. Find out if they are dupes!
Here are the swatches from the drugstore haul post!

Pink Blush on the left, Pink Pout on the right

I forgot to take a picture of the liner! *smacks head* Sorry! It's a real natural base for the neutral colors. The swatch is a little darker here because I layered it on. While it doesn't look like it swatched, Pink Blush is pretty similar in color to Viva Glam Gaga. And Revlon Pink Pout is matte, but you can juice it up with some gloss.

Small Drugstore Haul
These are just a few things that I have bought in the past month from my local drugstore. I think I might have left some things out, so they must not be that important. :P
Noxzema Anti-Blemish Pads, Rimmel London Pink Blush lipstick, Revlon Matte Pink Pout lipstick, CoverGirl LashBlast mascara, Revlon ColorStay undereye concealer, Rimmel 1000 Kisses lip pencil in Natural, and Marcelle self-tanning wipes.

The Pink Blush is a new shade by Rimmel and Pink Pout has been talked about quite a bit by beauty gurus on YouTube.
I really like the Revlon ColorStay products, so I just had to try this. I really like the applicator. You turn the bottom until product comes out and with the sponge tip, it's a no-mess application.
I'll have swatches of the lipstick and liner, as well as a review on the mascara soon. If you want a review on anything else in this haul, just let me know!

Summer Fashion Inspiration
I thought I would comb through some recent celebrity candids to draw a list of inspiration for summer fashion. Here are a few of my favorites! I will list the celebrities and what I like about the outfits. :)
Victoria Beckham- Printed bottoms!
Anne Hathaway (in a not-so-flattering picture)- Casual cool. Statement jewelry and shoes.
Sarah Michelle Gellar- Light fabric and layering.
Lauren Conrad- Matching accessories. Loose flowing cardigans.
Reese Witherspoon- Printed dresses. Basic flats.
Hilary Duff- Print with unexpected pop of color with the belt and cardigan.
Do you have a fashion inspiration right now? I think I could live in Lauren Conrad's closet!

Korres Lip Butters
I purchased the Korres Lip Saver Roll from Sephora, which is still available. You're basically getting one lip butter for free, if you buy them in this package.
You get one in Guava, Pomegranate, and Mango in the set. While they are labeled as lip butters, they are supposed to also be great for cheeks. I have yet to try that, though. As a lip product, I'm sold on these! I cannot put mine down. As I type, my Guava jar is sitting right beside me ready for me to pick up and use.
One thing I like is that the packaging is not heavy at all, so it makes throwing these in your purse a breeze. Aside from Guava being a clear tint, these tinted balms are very pigmented. I have been using them instead of lipstick on some days. I have a problem with my lips being dry and chapped, but in the past two weeks of using these I've noticed a big difference. My lips are moisturized and smooth, which makes lipstick look ten times better when I do wear it.
I'd love to try Jasmine next as it seems to get a lot of good reviews. For these being my first Korres products, they definitely have me interested in trying more products by the brand. Let me know if you have tried these lip butters and what you think of them!

Niagara Falls Trip Haul Pt. 4
Sorry about no post yesterday! I went to the Dixie Chicks/Eagles concert last night and I didn't get back in until nearly 1am. It was a great night of music, though! The Eagles still have it together after all of these years. :)
There was only one CCO nearby and I just had to stop in. Every CCO varies in what they carry and I rarely see the same things at different locations. I did not go crazy in there and actually only one thing has been discontinued, which means you can still get the other three at MAC if they tickle your fancy!

Blossoming Blushcreme in a Pearl finish. This has been discontinued. It's very pigmented. I like to dab a flat-top brush (similar to MAC's 130) lightly into it. Dab any excess on the back of your hand. Then, dot it on the cheeks and blend it out. Other blushes look nice layered on top and it lasts all day.
Shadowy Lady eyeshadow, which is a matte formula. I've come to the conclusion that I am not a big fan of the MAC matte shadows when it comes to blending. They say this is a plum color and with flash, it does look that way. When swatched, it comes out a very dark color and it's hard to detect the purple tones.
Tan pigment in the old jar. I really despise the new MAC pigment jars as I have stated before. I have one of the new jars in my collection and it makes me go nuts that it is not like the others! It's a pinkish bronze color. I would not really classify it as tan, in my opinion.
Kitschmas, also in the older packaging. It's a gorgeous shimmery pink that goes on very sheer. This would look lovely with a bold eyeliner look or paired with a gray eyeshadow. I think I'll use it quite a bit this summer!
Swatches!
