YouTube Tag

Currently watching: Real World: DC
Currently playing: with my new phone
Currently feeling: busy

I recently saw a tag going around on YouTube and decided to post my responses to it on here. The tag is to name items that you were inspired to buy after hearing about them on YouTube and if they lived up to the supposed potential. I'm sure I'm forgetting some things, because I'm forever surfing YT and watching videos. Here's a few things!

1. MAC Rubenesque Paint Pot- I believe I first heard about this on allthatglitters21's page. She mentioned that she loved it and showed it in a few of her tutorials. I fell in love with the color. And I do absolutely love it!

2. MAC Refined MSF- I heard beechbum06 raving about it in a video and just knew I had to go out and get it. I still reach for it quite often.

3. Coastal Scents Palettes- I watched makeupbytiffanyd talk about her 88 piece matte palette and her blush & contour palette. I have to say that I am impressed by Coastal Scents and look forward to placing more orders in the future.

4. The Brush Guard- Where did I first hear about these? Hmmm, it might have been enKoremakeup. I use these every single time I wash my brushes or travel and they absolutely work at keeping your brushes in shape. I think these are a necessity now and could not imagine drying my brushes without them!

5. MAC Colour Crafted lipstick- beautymarked19 spoke about this lipstick and mentioned getting about three backups of it! She wore it in a few of her videos and the pink color was perfect. I haven't been wearing it much during fall, but I wore it many times during the summer. It's a great "Barbie" pink! It can easily be toned down, which makes it versatile.

6. NYX Jumbo Eyeshadow Pencils- This is another brand that I saw makeupbytiffanyd talking about. She often used her Milk pencil as a base for her shadows. I now have six colors to play with and use!

7. E.L.F. products- Not bad products for the price. I love the eyebrow kit.

8. Urban Decay Primer Potion- I first heard about eye primers on YouTube. I never even knew there was such a thing. I'm so glad to have learned about them, because they really make shadows more vibrant and mask any discoloring on your eyelids. I don't recall who I first heard talking about this, but I'm glad that I watched the video! UDPP is amazing!

I know there is probably more, but I'll save those for next time. I love the beauty community on YT, because it does open my eyes to products I probably never would have thought to try. :)
