April 2020 Favorites

Getting this post up was something else. I was ready to throw my ancient laptop out the window because it kept giving me errors left and right. Alas, I think I've finally got it working. **knocks on wood**

My husband and I are in week 7 of staying home and my monthly favorites have definitely proven to be different with our new schedule (or lack thereof). Instead of makeup and nail polish, I've found myself gravitating more toward skincare, things that make my pamper sessions feel luxurious and comforting, and things that just add a dose of self care to my everyday routine. My makeup drawers are probably catching a bit of dust right now and I'm okay with that. Has what you reach for changed in recent weeks?

Though there's not a single makeup product to be found in my favorites this month, these things have been my main grabs for weeks!

January 2018 Favorites

I think I started feeling the vibes of Valentine's Day a little early, because I have felt this gravitational pull to all things pink and red. Okay, to be fair, I usually go for pink any day of the week...but the need has been stronger. Though this is my January favorites, I've definitely taken these same products into my February rotation. I can't resist them!

As per usual, here is my weekly roundup of what came in my beauty advent calendar. For this year, it's The Body Shop's 24 Days of Beauty. It comes with a mixture of beauty and skincare items. To catch up and see my mini reviews on what came in the first week, click here. It's so much fun opening up a door each day for the little gift! As someone who does not particularly like chocolate (which is quite rare judging by the reaction I usually get! Haha!), I love that these beauty advents exist.
