Long time no post! I can't explain why other than there's just a lot going on in the world and I'm doing my best to navigate through it. No excuses, just self preservation. I've been unplugging a lot and giving myself breaks. It's a privilege that I appreciate more so these days than many in the past. Not just following world news, but I try to stay caught up on the two countries that I call home. It can become overwhelming quite quickly and I realized how important unplugged moments are in a world that is very plugged in.
I still have my pictures for What I Got for Christmas, but it seems so far removed from Christmas now to share. Maybe I'll fit them into a random post, if interest is there. Most of the items end up popping up in my Instagram photos, though! And there are other posts I'm behind on, but I have to keep telling myself not to beat myself up about it. I'll get back into the swing of things. I know I will. It's just the obsessiveness and perfectionist in me that wants to make things harder on myself with added pressure and a proverbial magnifying glass pointing things out. Both a blessing and a curse at any given moment.

Today's post is a simple throwback to old school blogging, a collective haul with stock photos (since I'm waiting for the items to arrive)! I made an order from Colourpop during their big sale and used some Super Cash from Old Navy, taking advantage of Rakuten's cash back on both orders. Here's what I got and now for the hard part of waiting for it to arrive! 😁 I apologize if some of the Colourpop items are now out of stock since it was also a "last chance" sale but most, if not all, of the Old Navy items are still available if you see something you like!
- Lip Creme in Calming Circle - Part of the reason I ordered from the sale was to get some items from the Hocus Pocus and Rudolph collections! I know these are all along the same color family, but I did that so I could mix and match them with each other or wear them separately.
- Lip Tint in Rose Way - I haven't tried their lip tints, so I look forward to this one.
- Lip Liner in Over the Liner - Lip liners are not something I deem necessary for my routine, but I liked the shade of this one and don't own one like it.
- Lippie Stix in Chakra Waves - I love their Lippie Stix, but I haven't purchased one in a very long time.
- Bath Melt in Humble Bumble - I've never tried anything from their skincare line or bath products. It's going to be really hard to talk myself into using this one. So cute!
- Highlighter in Jingle Jingle Jingle Jingle - I wanted something from the Rudolph collection so badly, so I'm happy to have these two coming my way. The packaging is adorable! And I happen to be someone that seems to think "too many highlighters" is not a sentiment that exists.
- Eyeshadow Palette in Witching Hour - Had to have! Hocus Pocus was one of the first, if not the actual first, movies that I saw in a theatre. It has a special place in my heart! Love the shade selection in this. It's going to be fun to play with!
- Eyeshadow Palette in Cabana Club - This might have escaped my radar had I not been scrolling through looking at everything meticulously to see what to add to my cart. At $9, it was quickly added to my cart. I don't know how often that turquoise will be put to use, but it is beautiful!
- Eyeshadow Stick Vault in In the Bare - I live for stick formulas. They are so easy and convenient. I haven't tried Colourpop's yet, but this seemed like the best way to do so. Neutral everyday colors that I think will go with every look or stand up on their own.
- Striped Tee - So cute! I had a colorful skinny-striped shirt that was my favorite back in middle school and this instantly made me think of it. Nostalgia is powerful! It was the first thing I added to my cart!
- Brown Tank - I always love a good basic, but I also got this to pair with the joggers below.
- High-waisted Leggings - Old Navy leggings are great and at a decent price point. My last pair was finally washed one too many times after loads of wears!
- Sherpa Joggers - I couldn't say no to these! I adore sherpa anything and these look so warm and cozy.
- Headbands - It's been forever and a day since I purchased any headbands, but this set is cute and neutral to go with any outfit. I know this is the style that is in right now, so why not if it doesn't break the bank?
- Faux Fur Slippers - I have not bought a pair of slippers from ON in quite a while, but always have good luck with them. I usually go with the booties, so we'll see how these work out for me. They look like they will be comfortable and warm with all of that faux fur on the inside!
