VDL Creamy Stick Jelly Blush in Heidi

I was gifted the most glorious box of VDL Cosmetics to try. And today, I'm diving into one of the items and providing you with my thoughts and swatch. I've already raved about it on Instagram and now it is time to bring it to the blog! I guess with that sentence that we know where this review is heading, don't we?

I'll talk about the other items I received on here soon, as well. To catch a small synopsis and to see them all in action, you can find the post on my Instagram. Sometimes I give sneak peeks there first. Let's dive in!

I'm a little obsessed with stick formulas right now. They are just so easy and travel-friendly. And I will just go ahead and say that this might be the best that I have tried when it comes to blushes. The Creamy Stick Jelly is basically perfection. Like the title implies, it's so creamy and an absolute breeze to work with. My dry skin loves it!

I don't apply it directly to the skin. I use the smaller tip end of a damp beauty sponge and it just diffuses it to a lovely sheer wash of color. This formula produces the most beautiful glow that I often even go without a highlighter because it just isn't needed. I can attest to its claims of lasting all day, but then again I don't know how long it might last on someone with oily skin because it is so creamy. And while this formula can be used on lips, I haven't...but that's because I think this color is a bit too light for that. One of the other colors, though? I could totally see that.

I'm pretty pumped that VDL is on my radar now and that it's becoming more readily available in other countries, as it's one of the top-selling brands in South Korea. If you have been paying attention to a lot of beauty bloggers, you've probably even seen all of the hype around the primers (my thoughts coming soon!). They retail for $25 US on the VDL US website and $27 CA on the Canadian website.

Have you tried anything from VDL yet? Not to spoil the direction of my other coming reviews (but I definitely am...), I haven't tried anything that has let me down. So so sooo good!
