This is one of the products I've tried before. I'm really bad at remembering to use a primer, but I do like this one. It doesn't work as well along my really dry areas. It is scent free and feels light on the skin, which are definite pluses. I do think this would work for those with normal to combination skin and not those with extremely dry or oily skin. As far as keeping makeup last, it does its job well.

Darphin Exquisage Beauty Revealing Serum / $165 CA
Okay, this is good. It's not holy grail for me, though. And honestly, I'm happy because that price tag is no joke and it would have certainly hurt my wallet. It made my skin feel soft and look a little brighter, but I have other products who do just as good of a job for me. At least with my skin right now, this doesn't seem to be the right fit. I'll end with noting the scent, which is really fresh!

Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair Synchronized Recovery Complex II / $86 CA
I love a good serum, especially one that works at night. I like how quickly it absorbs and does not make my skin feel greasy. I would say it does help combat my dryness and makeup seems to go on smoother after a night of using it. The size that I received is a little hard to fully review, because I feel like this is a product where you're going to see the most changes the longer you use it.

Clinique Take the Day Off Makeup Remover for Lids, Lashes, & Lips / $24 CA
This is another one that I had previously tried and have in my collection. It's a good one and doesn't break the bank. I remember back in high school when I tried an eye makeup remover from CoverGirl and it was the worst thing on the planet. I don't know how they got away with marketing it for the eyes because it burned within an inch of them. But this is super gentle and works like a charm at even waterproof makeup. This is a winner.

GlamGlow Supermud Clearing Treatment / $79 CA
I have a sample of this from one of my past Sephora orders and I never got around to using it, so this was new to me. Not just this specific item, but GlamGlow is a brand I had yet to try despite hearing rave reviews. Don't think for a second that I haven't seen that glitter mask (WANT!) they just came out with, though! What I like about this is the charcoal. I love charcoal in skincare. For me, this was okay. It was a bit intense on my sensitive skin. It is not enough to dethrone Origins Clear Improvement Active Charcoal mask as my favorite.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Lip Color in Ruby / $38 CA
I love the color, it's the formula I'm not that big on. It swatched with chunks on my hand and goes on my lips the same way. It settled into every line and looked splotchy. The lasting power isn't fantastic, nor is the formula moisturizing. As far as the claim that it is a swipe and go formula, I have to disagree. I'm going to try to find a way to make this work for me, because it's an absolutely gorgeous red.
