You know how I said that Hard Candy was hit or miss for me in the last post? Well, here's another hit. Unfortunately, it appears to have also been discontinued and replaced with another product. However, you can still find it on Amazon and maybe a few other places.
I won't sit here and say it is the best highlighting powder I have, but it is pretty good for the price point. So read on for my thoughts and swatches!
This powder definitely has gold glitter in it, but it is not chunky. I do not apply this all over my face, but rather as a highlight powder. I prefer using a fan brush to apply it and have not even touched the sponge it came with. I cannot see it being useful in application at all, but it is super cute. And now that I think about it, maybe I'll use it in future manicures so it does not just sit there. I say fan brush or a duo fibre brush, because this can easily turn into a glitter bomb instead of a delicate sheen.
The packaging is nice and sturdy and I love that the mirror says "Get
ready...get set...glow!". Cute little touch! This is a great little
powder to get that summer glow. I do not notice any scent and it lasts
all day on my dry skin. Other Hard Candy products can be found at
Walmart and they are a cruelty-free brand.
