Hard Candy Living Doll Baked Blush

Hard Candy is not one of those brands that I have had a lot of luck with in the past. I have just had more misses than hits. I remember trying a product or two when the brand was still at Sephora. Does anyone else remember when they were carried there? The display was so bright and colorful. I am pretty sure that one of their eyeshadow kits was one of my first purchases ever made at Sephora!

Also, for my fellow Americans, you'll notice that our Smarties are actually called Rockets here. That is due to there already being a Smarties candy and a country can't have dueling Smarties, now can they?! To be honest, I still call them Smarties. You can't combat so many years of a habit like that. They will always be Smarties to me, dang it. :)

While I said that I have had many misses with the Hard Candy brand, this baked blush is certainly an exception. Living Doll is absolutely gorgeous and goes on like a dream. It reminds me a lot of MAC's baked blushes. This one gives a wonderful glow and is easily buildable in intensity, even being able to apply it wet or dry. I am a pale girl and this works without being too much on my skin. No clown cheeks, just a pretty pink glow. I can see this layering nicely over other blushes, as well.

Have you tried Living Doll or any other of the Hard Candy baked blushes? If you have not been entirely pleased with the brand or you absolutely love them, I recommend these blushes. And if you have fair skin, Living Doll is a real winner.

I won't be updating until Wednesday. It is a holiday weekend here and Tuesday is my husband's birthday. See you all then!
