PopSugar's 2015 Reading Challenge

I love a good challenge and I certainly love to read! Have you seen or read about PopSugar's Reading Challenge for this year? I first heard about it on GoodReads, but have also seen it on a few blogs I follow (including this gal!). I've decided to see if I can complete it. Join the challenge with me!

I've already crossed off three so far and I am right on schedule. But you can help me! Recommend any books you've loved in any of the applicable categories. I never get tired of recommendations and I'm racking my brain on some of these!

This looks like fun! A book more than 100 years old - I'd go for Jane Austen.

A Memoir: Brazilian Journal by P.K. Page, Josef Anton by Salman Rushdie -- both astoundingly excellent reads.

A book with bad reviews: Twilight....

Thanks for the suggestion! She is often a popular choice, isn't she? :)

Girl, I've gone down that Twilight road. Liked the story, liked the movies, hated the writing. It deserved those bad reviews! It was page after page of nothing and little action. It could have been a good 100 pages shorter. Haha! I'll look into those. Thanks for the suggestions!

I am trying to get back into reading myself. In fact, my Kindle is charging right now in preparation for bedtime reading! One of my favorite books is "The Pillars of the Earth" by Ken Follett. It's almost 900 pages, so it'll knock #1 out. But you can't put it down!!!
