Finger Lickin' Lacquer

Jennifer and I go way back. I'm talking about one of my best friends and this is about her new business venture. To say that I am excited for her is a major understatement. I want to see her do well and I think this is going to be a real humdinger of an adventure! Pretty sure that is the first time I have ever used the word "humdinger" on this blog.

This post is just showing the custom polishes that she sent me. I promise to do a post with proper swatches soon. I had a relapse with my nailbiting (it happens!), so I'm waiting for them to grow back. I've stopped the habit for two years now, but there are bound to be relapses here and there. I don't kick myself over it. I just start over with a clean slate. That is key!

I love that she made me custom colors. She knows me so well!

Ice Wine- Well, I married a Canadian and live in the Great White North now. Ice Wine is huge here! I love that she made something in this theme. As a matter of fact, she's my only non-Canadian friend to have made the trek to visit me in all of the years that I have been up here. She means the world to me! P.S.- The new place has a guest room. Come back! :D

Orgasmic- Do you see why it's got that name? Yep, it's a perfect dupe for NARS Orgasm. Score!

Band Geek Forever- This is in our alma mater's colors- black and gold. See that little flute drawing? That is what brought us together. Band class and marching band will always be one of the highlights of my life. High school could have easily been a nightmare, but these people become your family and support system. Band camp, football games, practices, competitions...Every single drop of sweat, every moment spent memorizing the steps and music, every night I went home worn out from practice was all worth it. My fellow band geeks are still my greatest friends to this day. Didn't mean to go off into the land of memories there, but long story short, this one means the most to me.

You can see Jennifer's website here and it links to her Etsy shop and blog! Guys, she'll do custom orders. Do you have some fabulous idea for a color but have yet to find it? Never hurts to run it by her and see if it is possible! Did I forget to mention the best part about them being scented?! She also does themed collections, most recently showcasing Supernatural. I hope you will check out her website!

**I did receive these as a gift. All pictures and thoughts are my own. While I may come across as biased while talking about my homegirl, I assure you that her polishes deserve attention because they are great. Check out #fingerlickinlacquer  on Instagram to see what I mean.

Cool, I'll take a look at her site!

It's so nice that she customized the names too.

Oh, and I'm a former band geek too, so I completely relate to that one...

The company name is so cute! I hope nobody actually tries to lick it off their fingers though...

Haha! Well, at least with it being 5-Free, it wouldn't be too detrimental. ;)

My husband's Aunt lives in Seneca, and one of my dearest friends lives in Greenville. I love Greenville! Actually planning a visit soon.

How exciting! I go home whenever I can, though I haven't been in over a year. :( Definitely been homesick lately! Whenever you go, I hope you have a blast with your friend. Greenville is such a gorgeous little city!
