Continuing with my "Currently" series, I thought I'd share what I have been using the past while in my shower. I first shared a post like this last summer, which you can read here. And tell me what you have in your shower! Any HG products that you will always repurchase?
- L'Occitane's Almond Shower Oil. Holy amazing! I don't like the smell at all while I'm using it, as I find it too strong. Once it has melted into my skin though, it smells so clean and fresh. I find it really works well with my dry skin.
- Victoria's Secret Pure Seduction body wash. It smells so dreamy! I layer this with the body spray when I use it. It's just such a nice fruity scent that I find perfect for warmer months!
- EOS Shave Cream. Again, I love how well this works for my dry skin. I just feel like it moisturizes my legs nicely during and after I shave. Both the raspberry and vanilla scents are yummy, but I like the raspberry one for spring and summer and vanilla in the fall and winter. I associate certain kinds of scents with seasons. Can't help it!
- Aussie 3 Minute Miracle conditioner. HG status! I can't tell you how many times I have repurchased this since discovering it in high school. So so good.
- Schwarzkopf Cell-U-Plex shampoo. My Bumble and bumble shampoo is out, so I grabbed this from my stock. I have really thin hair and I must say, I really notice a difference when using this shampoo. I use it with my Bumble and bumble Thickening Serum and I do notice considerable volume.
- The Body Shop Coconut Body Scrub. I love their scrubs. I don't find it to be too rough on the skin like some others that I have tried. When using this scent, I pair it with their coconut milk body lotion or the coconut body butter after my shower. To quote myself from above, so so good.

I have to look into that shampoo..I have so much hair that it's too heavy and doesn't provide any volume and I'll try anything haha
the almond shower things sounds great because I love strong smells (depending if I like the scent and I do love almond), although, I have always kinda been steering clear of anything that has "oil" in it and is not food related - I cringe when I think of feeling greasy :D
where did you buy the shampoo, SDM? I have the same hair situation as you. I have bought the b&b mini thickening spray but haven't tried the serum yet tho.
I also never use conditioners since it makes my hair softer and since its already straight and thin, I don't need additional softness but I prefer when its coarse lol!
regarding what I usually have in my shower, right now its Marc Anthony Argan oil shampoo, tons of BBW shower gels from semiannual sale and before, VS Pink foaming shower wash, BBW midnight pomegranate scrub (disc), BBW twilight woods gel which husband uses and some gels which I bought when I was in EU visiting home.
How's the new condo search going, found a nice place yet? :)
btw adding you on Goodreads since I also love to read, hope that's okay! :)
@Fabulously Thrifty- You should try the Bumble and bumble Thickening Hairspray. I swear that stuff is instant volume in a bottle! :)
@splattergirl- My dry skin sucks it all in, but honestly it doesn't feel oily at all. It just feels nicely moisturized after a shower. I don't even feel the need for lotion, which is nice!
I want to say that I found it at Walgreens the last time I was in the States, but I've seen it on eBay and Amazon online. Walmart might have it!
I only use this conditioner on my ends as they get dry sometimes. It's also perfect after swimming! I would recommend it, but only if you use a lot of heat, products, etc.
Love the B&BW Midnight Pomegranate scent! I have the spray, but I think it is packed away! The search has pretty much stalled as the market is just not on our side right now. I really don't want to put our place on the market until there are a few places I'm interested in. Unfortunately, nothing much is available in our price range right now. :/ Fingers crossed that changes! And yep, I'm on GR all the time. :D
