MAC Swatches

Here are the swatches of my recently purchased MAC items. I won't show the swatch of the English Accents lipglass, because I have already put up swatches of it on here just weeks ago.

I have a few qualms about this pencil. I don't think the color would look that great on darker skin tones. Also the formula hugely accentuates any dryness on your lips. Be sure to moisturize your lips and remove any dead skin before using this. I don't have any lip color like this already in my collection. I tried it on its own with a clear gloss and with using Plink! over it. I'm really thinking that Partial to Pink Cremesheen Glass will look nice layered on top.

I like the unique color!

Viva Glam Cyndi is a coral color. It's a red-based coral. Normally I stay away from the coral-red family and stick to peachy-colored corals, but I think this can work for any skin tone because it is sheer. You can choose how deep you want the color by just how many layers you apply.

As you can see, with only one layer you can have a sheer wash of color. That makes this a great lipstick to carry in your bag because you can take it from day to night with just a few added swipes across the lips. This is a great wearable color!

The Coral Crepe paint pot is a nice base for a neutral eye. I tried to sheer it out at the left bottom of the swatch so that you can see that you can wear it on cheeks for a nice glow. I have not had the opportunity to work with it much and incorporate it into eye looks, but I think it will be fun for the summer!

I love the way Viva Glam Cyndi looks. Although I am peeved at myself for missing the Liberty of London colors. Oh well. I'll hope I can find them at my CCO over summer.

Also, I just love your blog.

If you order online, you should still be able to order the Liberty of London! I know the store close to me still has most of the collection, so you may not have missed out! :) Though, I'm a big fan of waiting until it comes to a CCO. Those stores are Godsent!

Thank you so much! <3
