L'Occitane's Arlesienne Fragrance

I do not usually smell something once and fall in love with it. I usually have to keep coming back to it after taking a break, maybe spritz it in the air, or on a fragrance strip. I just like to make sure that I buy scents that I will actually use. It is very rare when I smell something and just know instantly. This is one of those occasions.

L'Occitane's Arlésienne scent comes in different forms- shower cream, lotion, soap, etc. I want it in everything. That's how much I love this fragrance. It is described as a fusion of rose, violet, and saffron. I am not always attracted to floral scents, but I can be when they are done right. And by right, I mean not overpowering. This is crisp and light and perfect for warm summer days. If you have ever smelled Stella by Stella McCartney (one of my absolute favorites), this is like a lighter day version.

The packaging is superb. The rose gold and floral pattern etched on the glass makes this a perfect choice to display on your vanity. If you want to try this perfume out to see if it is for you, they offer a mini size! Arlésienne won a Canadian Fragrance Award last year and I am not surprised. I know scent is a personal thing and you may not like this, but I do think it will appeal to a lot of you!

Have you tried Arlésienne yet? If you are near a L'Occitane, I highly recommend stopping in and smelling it. That and grabbing a bottle of their Almond Shower Oil, which is a necessity in my shower!
