Sephora Canada Spring Savings Event Haul 2021

I haven't bought anything from Sephora in a while and I rarely take advantage of these sales. Being a Beauty Insider and only getting 10% off doesn't exactly draw me in. Though, I do use my Rakuten to gain back a percentage for my purchase. I probably would have passed this time, but there was one specific item I just had to have. If you've been here a while, you probably know exactly which item that is. 😉

This isn't a post with individual reviews, just sharing my haul and maybe a few initial thoughts! Did you take advantage of the sale? I'd love to know what you got!

This liquid highlighter is actually more of a bronzer for me. I picked up the shade Eclipse. Sephora Collection items were an additional 30% off at the time of my order, so I thought that made this a good time to try this. Having more powder bronzers in my collection, I really wanted to try a formula like this to play around with.

This set is such a good deal! At $36 CA, you get that back right off the bat with the full-sized Laneige Lip Glowy Balm ($20) and the mini-sized Liquid ExfoliKate ($29). The pear Lip Glowy balm smells amazing. The Caudalie foaming cleanser is a decent size and the Sol De Janeiro Bum Bum Body Scrub has the same smell as the cream. Looking forward to trying that! I have no idea how to use the Isle of Paradise tanning drops, but I'll look into them. I'm not much of a self tanner kind of gal. If you have any tips, drop them my way! Farmacy and Biossance are new to me, as well. This is a great way to try out new products.

For my long-time readers, now you know the reason behind the haul, don't you? 😀 You know a bear palette isn't going to get past me. I think not! This is so pretty in person. Can't say I'm a fan of what Too Faced is calling a Teddy Graham scent. I don't pick that up in the notes at all! I know a lot of people are saying it is small, but I actually really like that. And the amount of product isn't much different from their other palettes. I absolutely love how sturdy and strong the casing and magnet closure is.

This shade is stunning and I can't wait to show you it in detail. I picked up Fenty's Candy Venom. It's on a massive sale and I couldn't say no. I love a pink lip, so this had to be mine. The packaging is to die for.

With the samples, I also spent 100 points on the face mask. I couldn't resist the polkadots! I love the soft and silky material, but I wish the ear loops were longer and adjustable. I have a round face and sensitive ears, so I feel like it tugs on them a little more than I'd like. It's not the end of the world, but I don't think I'd be comfortable in this for longer periods of time.  I appreciate the nose area having one of those bars to shape it and tighten it to the face!

I ordered two different samples, but I guess they ran out. To make up for it, it seems they sent me two different ones plus an extra thrown in. No complaints here. The perfume smells nice, but I can't say it is something that I would have picked out on my own. I'm looking forward to trying the Youth to the People cleanser, because I haven't tried anything by the brand yet. And I never say no to a Smashbox primer. I'll have to see how this one compares to the tried and true Photo Finish Primer. I like the idea of moisturizer being added!
