Wow, October already! This has been the strangest, shortest, longest, and just everything in between kind of year ever. I love early October days and weather. The trees outside of my window have started changing colors and there is a coolness to the breeze. My air conditioning is off, replaced by open windows and patio doors for fresh air. Fall decor is out and candles have been lit. October to December is my jam and I didn't think it was possible for me to be more obsessed than I already was, but a pandemic has me staying home more often than not. Cozy vibes, decor, and surrounding myself in the feeling of hygge has seen a monumental growth in my life since March.
I'm ready to start watching the Halloween TV specials and movies and celebrate the Canadian Thanksgiving (just the two of us this year - we'll be doing a family chat on FB, though)! Anyone else ready for the festive months? I was supposed to be going home in November for Thanksgiving and my brother's birthday, but COVID has changed those plans obviously. It's unfortunate, but I am so glad that I got to visit last Christmas. Everyone staying safe and healthy is far more important!

- Edje Shadow Switch - HomeSense rarely lets me down and I'm happy I saw this on one of the rare times I went somewhere. This isn't a brush cleaner in the traditional sense, do still do that! This removes pigment and allows you to use the same brush for multiple shades. Here's the rest of that haul.
- Juvia's Place The Nubian Palette - I just shared my swatches of The Nudes palette and I'll have this one coming in the next while. I'm loving the Juvia's Place formulas!
- Dove 0% Aluminum Deodorant - This is a decent natural deodorant. I love the pomegranate scent and it lasts for hours, but it isn't overpowering enough to give me a headache. For the hotter days or where I know I'm going to be more active, I still rely on my current antiperspirant. The deodorizing part would hold up in those conditions, but my sweat wouldn't. I am happy to have been sent this to review, because it might have flown under my radar. Great drugstore option for a natural formula.
- Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink in Revolutionary - One of my newest additions to my lip collection. I still need to swatch this. These will get you through anything the day throws at you and survive hours of wearing masks.
- Maybelline Lifter Gloss in Amber - I'm not wearing gloss much, as it doesn't exactly work well with masks. I can't NOT pick this as a favorite, though. The formula! I've already picked another one up (Petal) and need to swatch them for y'all. One of the best gloss formulas I've tried in a long time!
