My Daily Face Routine

Currently watching: Rachael Ray Show
Currently reading: Nylon
Currently feeling: thirsty

1. I put on my Dove Day Cream to moisturize my face. I have very dry skin, so I feel as though this step is a must! If there is a blemish, I add Body Shop's Tea Tree Oil Blemish Stick. That stuff works like magic!

2. I apply my primer to allow a nice base for my foundation. I use Philosophy's The Present.

3. This is where it differs for some people. There is the age old question of do you apply foundation before or after concealer! I'll tell you now that I do a mixture of both. It depends on how my skin is that day. To specify:
- On days that there are breakouts, add concealer first. With adding foundation on top of that, it cancels out the redness.
- For the under-eye area, add foundation first. That's because concealers brighten the area as well as conceal the darkness, so add it last.
Most days, I just need foundation on my face. So I add it first. For powder, I use L'Oreal's Bare Naturale. For liquid, I use Clinique's Almost Makeup. I apply the liquid one with a damp blending sponge.

4. Then, I add the concealer under my eyes. I use either Studio Sculpt or Benefit's Erase Paste.

5. I set my foundation with my MAC MSF Natural powder.

6. I use MAC MSF in Refined for blush and contouring my cheeks.

7. I add my highlighter, which is usually Benefit's Dandelion.

8. After that, I spray my face with my Evian spray to set everything.

9. At night, I remove it all with Urban Decay's Clean & Sober makeup remover.

10. Then, I wash my face with a Dove facial cleanser. I apply the Dove cream again before bed. I add a little bit more of my Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Stick, if needed.

And that's it! Ten easy steps!
