Like last week when I shared days 1-7 of the NYX Sugar Trip advent calendar, I'm back with days 8-14! These days brought the first blush and eyeshadows, which you'd think I don't own enough of judging by my excitement when I opened them. Again, if you're okay with not opening these on the day of, the Sugar Trip advent is on for half off and it's a steal of a deal! We paid full price for mine, so I'm kind of kicking myself for not waiting a bit to take advantage of the discount. It's still a great deal no matter if you paid regular price or the discount, for sure.
While I know the shades are exclusive to this calendar, the formulas are not. And there are some good formulas going on in this calendar!

This is very subtle and sheer. It's got a gorgeous finish, but it takes a lot to build up to it. I like the duochrome. I just wish it was a little more noticeable.
Land of Lollies Blush in Lollipop Hop
One word: gorgeous! It's pigmented, it's flattering, and lasted for hours on my skin. It's easy to go overboard with, but I can live with that risk.
Sweet Chateau Eye Shadow in Cookie Cutter
This is basically my skin in shadow form. Works well as a base layer for me. Smooth application.
Sweet Chateau Eye Shadow in Candy Stash
Absolutely beautiful, but not the kind of color I reach for often. I find pinks one of the more difficult shades to work with on the eyes, probably why I slap them on me everywhere else. You know...balance. This has a beautiful sheen that might just make me go out of my comfort zone a little more.

I smell the cranberry, but not really the mint. I am very okay with that, as mint is not my favorite scent, but simply one I tolerate. I did do a hand swatch to show that it is clear in formula, so I didn't feel a lip swatch was necessary. This feels nice on the lips, not greasy or sticky. I'm on a bit of a lip oil kick and have been putting this to use. It's not the best I've used, but it does provide enough moisture that your lips will benefit from use.
Slip Tease Full Color Lip Oil in Poppin'
Put the benefits of the lip oil into a liquid lipstick and you have this Slip Tease formula. I love how it feels, but I find that it goes on a little streaky and is a little difficult to work with to get a smooth finish. Huge fan of the color, how opaque it is, and how incredible it feels on the lips. I just wish it wasn't so much work. Now that I've tried this one, I do want to look into the other shades available.
Butter Gloss in Glaze-y Days
There was a gloss that I used in my middle school days that this reminds me of. It was in the Bonne Bell Lip Lites collection. Do you guys remember those glosses? I loved them! With that said, this one brought back instant nostalgia.These aren't 100% opaque. If you're wanting that, you need to layer it. It is beautiful on its own, as seen above. It is smooth like butter, living up to its name. I have a lot of nude lipsticks that I can't wait to layer this with and see what the final result is!
