Corks and Bubbles Soaps (and a Giveaway)

I was given the opportunity to try a few items from Corks and Bubbles recently. I love a good pamper session, so I was pumped to get to try a soap and bath bomb from Sharon. Sharon creates these products in Brampton, Ontario and they are eco-friendly and vegan. I always love being able to put local companies under a spotlight!

Keep reading for my thoughts and find out how you can win one of the soaps pictured.

Green Tea and White Pear Soap
Like I am with lavender, if you put pear in anything, I'm sold. This soap smells so fresh. My whole makeup room smelled like it when I opened the package and photographed it. The little added touch of tea leaves on the edge is nice. That's something like Lush would do. The best part is the coconut oil and Shea butter. Those are two ingredients that my dry skin just suck up and love. The green tea and pear scent comes from a fragrant oil. You can buy this bar for $10 CA.

Passionate Kisses Bath Bomb
I couldn't find this on the online store. This might be a in-store option, because I know bath bombs can be pretty darn fragile to ship. There's something about the scent that is familiar to me and I think it might be similar to Lush's Sex Bomb scent. I used up the last one in my stock a few weeks ago, so I'm going on memory. That's one of my favorites by Lush, so I love the jasmine and fruity scent of this bomb. I mean no insult to Lush, but holy moly this one wins the battle.

My dry skin did not stand a chance. I don't want to go into gross details, but I sure did have baby soft skin afterward. This made my skin so slick that I could barely turn on the faucet to rinse off the tub when I was done. That's a good thing, by the way. Passionate Kisses had a great fizz and took quite a while to dissolve in the water. And the smell lasted all day on my skin. SO GOOD.

And for that pretty little soap above? Well, I'm giving it away on my Instagram. Sharon was nice enough to include it in my package to give to one of you and I've added a few things to create a "Pamper Day" Giveaway! Go to my Instagram (or search "wendybanner") to see the post and follow the instructions. To note before heading there: no giveaway accounts, only open in Canada and US, closes on March 31, 2017, and you must be following me on Instagram.

I'm taking the rest of the week off for my 11th wedding anniversary. I'll be back to normal routine next week. I hope you all have a great rest of the week and weekend!
