Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser in Fair

This is one of those HG products for me. I went through my last one so long ago, but I tried to put off getting a replacement to try and finish some concealers already in my collection. And I did try for over a year and I just honestly have no other product that performs like this one does.

This product comes in fair, light, medium, neutralizer, and brightener. I've heard there is quite a bit of difference in fair and light, and by default I always go for the lighter shade. It works perfectly fine for me. I do have my eyes on the brightener shade, so if you have tried that one do let me know what you think of it!

You have to click and click and click...and click some more until product finally comes out of the sponge applicator upon first use. It's not my favorite kind of applicator, but it works just fine. I had the foundation in this same line and the applicator completely stopped clicking and I could no longer get the product out. So frustrating, but I have not had that same problem with the concealer. The sponge is anti-bacterial and Maybelline does advise against wetting and cleaning the sponge. The top and sponge get a little messy after a few uses.

Performance wise, I love how easy this is to blend and it covers any darkness and discoloration that I have under my eyes on any given day. I dab it on with the sponge, blend it out with a brush or sponge, and set it with powder. I experience no creasing or caking. My eye area is on the dry side so that might be a different story for those with oily eye areas. I've read some reviews of people who think this is drying, but I don't personally find that to be the case.
