Makeup Monday

Currently listening: Poker Face by Lady GaGa
Currently working: on a batch of graphics
Currently feeling: bored

I meant to do this two weeks ago, but I have the tendency to procrastinate. And so you get this post a little late. It's still relevant, though...I promise! I tried a few new makeup products in 2008 and stuck to many of my favorites even after trying the new ones. Here is a mixture of new finds and my constant go-to cosmetics.

1.Sephora Makeup Eraser. I reviewed it here.
2. Nars blush. My personal favorite is Orgasm and I reviewed it here.
3. Urban Decay Transforming Potion. I reviewed it here.
4. Benefit BADgal Lash Mascara. I reviewed it here.
5. Almay Liquid Eyeliner. I get it in black and I'm normally a liquid eyeliner clutz, but this handle is easy to hold and I've had no problems with it.
6. DiorKiss lipgloss. I like the applicator and it gives just the right amount of color and shine.
7. Urban Decay Deluxe Eyeshadow. I love the colors they offer in this line. And you control how deep the color is by how many layers you apply. Layering it on top of my Eyeshadow Primer, it goes on smoothly and there is no fading during the day.
8. Rosebud Salve. I reviewed it here.
9. CoverGirl Perfect Point Eyeliner. I've been buying this brand since high school. My eyes are sensitive and this is the only solid eyeliner that goes on smoothly with no problems. I also like the smudging brush that is offered on the tip.
10. Urban Decay Eyeshadow Primer. I thought I had reviewed this once on my site already, but I could not find it. This is a necessity in everyone's makeup bag. HONESTLY! If you wear eyeshadow, please invest in some quality eyeshadow primer. There are other brands, but I really like Urban Decay's. You dab this on before you apply your eyeshadow. It causes the shadow to go on smoothly, prevents fading and creasing..and it provides a canvas that allows the shadow to be as vibrant as it should be.

XOXO
