Currently feeling: sore...went for an immigration physical two days ago. The nurse could not find a vein, so I'm sore from all of her tries...does not help that I am terrified of doctors, blood, needles, and so forth. :(

So I am getting a new laptop soon! We just put the order in the other day! :)

Say hello to my new baby:

It's a flamingo pink Dell Inspiron 1525. :) I upgraded to: a larger hard drive, more memory, bluetooth, webcam, and more. I also purchased a graphics tablet and pen at a discount for my Paint Shop and Photoshop. August 11th (expected delivery date) cannot come fast enough!

At the moment, my brother-in-law fixed my other two laptops. They just have really small hard drives, so this new one will be great in that aspect. I figure I'll use the one I'm on, which is my old HP pavilion ze4200 from college, to hold some of my music and photos. I'll use my new one for games, graphics, and whatever else. And I think I'll probably let my Dell Inspiron 1300 be my husband's laptop, since he does not have anything other than a desktop.

Not sure if you can tell, but I'm a bit of a technology and electronic junkie! :D

This past Saturday was my birthday! And this past week was really rough on me emotionally, as it was the one year anniversary of my grandmother's death. I spent last year's birthday at her funeral. I will make a post later and tell more about my birthday. For right now, I want to share two pictures of something I must have in my dream house...a library staircase! How amazing is this?! And what a space saver! I'm a book lover that is drooling at the mouth right now. :)

Let freedom ring...

It's a bit odd to celebrate this day in Canada! If I can celebrate Canada Day here, I'm going to celebrate July 4th too! I hope my fellow Americans have a wonderful holiday and happy celebrations. Please party, drive, and handle the fireworks carefully! And if you even have a sip of alcohol, please don't even think of climbing behind the wheel. Have a safe holiday weekend!

"It ought to be solemnized with pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations, from one end of this continent to the other, from this time forward forevermore." - John Adams
