Totally Useless

Yes, totally useless...is what this entry is going to be about. I thought that I would simply take the time to type out a few of the songs that I have been listening to nonstop in the past few days. I strongly suggest that you download these at once and listen to them, if you have never heard any of them!

1. Gimme More- Britney Spears--- I can't help it. The beat is addictive.
2. Be Still- Kelly Clarkson--- This song has really grown on me and it is gorgeous.
3. Headlines (Friendship Never Ends)- Spice Girls--- I love it!
4. Tranquilize- The Killers--- The Killers and Lou Reed...a combo that works.
5. Elf's Lament- Barenaked Ladies w/Michael Buble--- a fun Christmas song!
6. Misery Business- Paramore--- Fun song!
   
7. Great Escape- Boys Like Girls--- one of my new fave bands
   
8. Pictures of You- The Last Goodnight--- another new fave band

Polyvore is Love

Just wasting time and procrastinating writing for NaNo...so I thought I would post a few of the outfits I have made in recent months on Polyvore.(http://www.polyvore.com/cgi/profile?id=8066)

I need coffee!

I am on schedule for NaNoWriMo after working my butt off last night and tonight. I am actually about 30 words over my daily goal. Not bad! I have already written more now than by this time last year. I am quite proud of myself! I am not even out of steam yet.

Now if nanowrimo.org would not constantly zonk out on me, so that I could get on there and update my profile...Well, then I would be a happy camper times two!

Since I may be busy a few nights this week/weekend, I think I am going to try to get ahead of the game. I really need to buckle down and type like I have never typed before.

Excuse me while I make coffee my new best friend...

NaNoWriMo 2007

November is National Novel Writing Month. For more info, you can visit www.nanowrimo.org!

Anyway, this is my second year attempting it. You are supposed to have a goal of 50,000 words, and let's just say I did not even come close to it last year. This year, however, I feel a bit more prepared. I've been making a list of possible plots and storylines. I'm adding more conversations, back stories, and character development.

I'm tackling it this year. Will I beat it? I am not so sure. With day one down and day two officially underway, I have 1,000 words staring back at me. Just 49,000 more to go...Oh boy, that looks daunting. My fingers are crossed for the writing bug to keep pinching me and keep me going!

With Larry working an extra job for the next nine days, I will be at home alone during the days and nights. That means I have no excuse to fall on in the first few days, at least! I should have no interruptions, so that should be the perfect writing environment. I should get my green tea, big mug, writing mix music, and comfy PJs set out right now! :)

So if you need me anytime soon, you might want to wait until December. :D
