It's been over a week since I last updated. I had good intentions of blogging last week after my wedding anniversary and vacation, but my heart just wasn't in it. I think I just needed the break! I still updated Instagram, but I was rarely on Pinterest, Twitter, or on here. As someone who always tells others that breaks are important and they should not feel ashamed for taking time away, I finally listened to my own advice. Now, I feel refreshed and ready to step back in.
The best way to do that is with one of my favorite types of posts - monthly favorites! Short and sweet and easy to maneuver my way back into the blogging game. I know it was only a week-ish, but it takes a bit to get back into the blogging and social media routine!
- Aveeno MAXGLOW Peel Off Mask - I gave this a mini review on my Instagram here. I've had some misses with peel off masks, but this one works really well...as long as you use a thick layer.
- Biotherm Blue Therapy Red Algae Cream - Works well with fine lines around the eyes!
- Essie Carousel Coral - I'm pretty sure this is part of their permanent line. It's a fun color for spring and summer. I'm already surrounding myself with all of the pastels!
- Maybelline SuperStay Matte Ink in Loyalist - One of my most popular posts and pins on Pinterest and for good reason. This deserves all of the spotlight it gets! I love the formula so much, I just bought a second shade (coming soon on here!).
- Nude by Nature Translucent Setting Powder - My favorite product I have tried by Nude by Nature. If you're looking for a new setting powder that doesn't look caked on, I suggest this one as a possibility.
