2014: Back to School Supplies

Yep, I'm still someone who loves back to school time. Always have been! And my absolute favorite part is getting the brand new pens, notebooks, and organizing items. When I sign up for my online courses even now, I love cracking open a new notebook and getting out my colorful pens for notes. I'm a big believer that if your school and office supplies suit your personality that you'll get a lot more enjoyment out of them and at least tolerate work time at your desk.

Here are some pretty supplies that have caught my eye recently. LOVE! My lists have similar stuff each year, but I think this year's designs are my favorites so far. Designers and brands are stepping up their game!

Fashionable Heart | Back to School Supplies

Kate Spade large agenda (via Chapters) - $36 CA
I believe in the old tried-and-true paper method of keeping things organized and planned. I find if I write something down, I'm more apt to remember it. I have kept planners since middle school and they have been lifesavers to this day. You can see my Kate Spade planner from this year right here.

Kate Spade acrylic stapler (via Design Darling) - $28 US
I need this stapler in my life. I have a basic black one and a small pink one. This would look gorgeous on any desk.

#thingswelove pencil set (via Design Darling) - $8 US
Because doesn't every girl need a girly set of pencils? This will make those Scantron sheets a little more pleasant to fill out.

Customized notebook (via May Designs) - approximately $20-23 US
Loooooove these! I want to order multiple versions, honestly. You can customize it for your subjects, to be for notes, make it a planner, the ideas are endless.

Washi tape (via Target) - $3 US
This stuff is amazing! Decorate your locker, your book covers, binders, whatever you want.

Poppin pens (via Urban Outfitters) - $12 US
I prefer colorful pens that also have colorful ink but if you are required to use black or blue, you can still make sure the outer package is bright and cheery like these Poppin pens.

Jansport Right Pack backpack (via Urban Outfitters) - $55 US
Taking it back to my days in school, because nothing beats a Jansport backpack. They last forever and hold a ton. This is the exact color I had. I took it a step further and added patches and made it my own. Yeah, totally '90s.

Pretty binders (via Target) - approximately $5 US
I made sure that every class had a different color or design, so I knew which one to grab. Pretty prints are eyecatching. I can't assure you that it will make algebra class more exciting, though. Sorry.

I love that agenda... I wrote about in on my blog of what I wish I was buying for "back to school".

I am such a sucker for cute school supplies too. I finished my last graduate course like 5 years ago so I don't need them for "school" purposes, but writing down lists or whatever with fun pens in a cute notebook is always better!

Great selections! I have loved stationary items as a kid. Love notebooks and cute pads and pens. My current obsession is the Pentel Uniball Signo that is pink for breast cancer awareness. It's a gel pen that writes black with a medium point. Also love the Pentell Uniball Signo with the different colored inks. Love being a nerd!
