^Each pencil has a smudging sponge on the end.
These pencils are very soft and creamy. Easy to blend and use, but work fast. Once they are dry, they don't budge! Onyx is the blackest of blacks, so if you have been looking for a true black eyeliner this might be the one for you. I believe the colors of the jumbo pencils in this set are limited edition, but there are several other shades available in the permanent Tarte line. I am so happy that I purchased this as it was a last-minute decision to splurge!

wow-these look so pigmented and are all beautiful colors. I haven't used much Tarte-will have to take a look at Sephora soon!
