I hate to do this, I really do. I have to go on a break for just a little while. My husband is sick and I've been spending most of my time caring for him. With that, I just don't have available time to work on blog posts. I hope to be back at it by next week. Fingers crossed for my husband to start feeling better very soon!
Also, I did get an email that one giveaway winner received their prize. I hope the other two have! If you're seeing this, please let me know if you got your package. I always stress out until I know they arrive safely!
I would like to apologize for not responding to many comments and emails as of late. I can't even begin to tell you all how much is on my plate right now. So I just need this time to take care of my husband, try to stay sane, and get through my days one at a time. Thanks for understanding! I'll be back in full force soon!

Project 10 Pan
I did a Project 5 Pan last year and it was pretty difficult! However, this year I'm not having that hard of a time so far. I've found things that I really love and I use them a lot. I've decided to do a Project 10 this time, because money is tight right now. We weren't expecting things to happen the way they did with my cat and vet bills pile up so quickly and we're also saving up for a few summer trips. I'm doing my part in our budget by not buying a lot of "superficial" items. A few summer clothes are allowed, but my buying habits have dropped drastically in the past month. Perfect time for a Project 10!
I haven't bought anything since the end of April, which is why you haven't seen any hauls lately. This is a good opportunity for me to do some future blog entries about products that I already own, but never got around to showing. Now with my Project Pans, I include skincare, haircare, makeup, etc. If it has to do with beauty, I count it.
So far, I've finished off:
- Bath & Body Works Cucumber Melon body spray (This scent is being discontinued!)
- The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Blemish Stick
- CoverGirl LashBlast mascara
- MAC Wipes and Sephora Wipes
- CoverGirl NatureLuxe Silk Foundation (I think there is a tiny bit left, but it is hard to get out!)
I have a few other products that are thisclose to being empty and/or hitting pan:
The Body Shop Vitamin E Facial Spray
Pantene Full & Thick shampoo
MAC Studio Finish concealer- I use this all the time. I have no idea how I haven't hit pan yet!
Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse Concealer (Will be a sad day when this goes!)
Urban Decay Clean & Sober Makeup Remover
These projects are so worth it! And it really helps you find products in your collection that you might have forgotten about. :)

2011 MTV Movie Awards
I'm going to keep it simple and just do the outfit I thought was the worst and the one I thought was the best. I thought the awards were a bit of a bore this year, but Jason Sudeikis was much better as a host than a few of the past choices. Who would make your best/worst dressed list?

Jessica Szohr. What is this monstrosity? I get that playsuits are in, but come on. The paisley print is horrible. If it were a different and smaller pattern or solid color, I might have liked it. Also the hem much too long.

Emma Watson. This is just perfection. I love that she didn't feel the need to go as bold as others, but still chose a dress with a major "wow" factor. Gorgeous!

Summer 2011 Wishlist + New Layout!
I've been thinking about what I really want to wear this summer. Sure, a t-shirt and jeans usually cut it...but I want a little extra pizazz! :)

1. more sandals
2. a maxi dress
3. more rompers
4. a feather necklace
5. feather extensions
6. TOMS shoes
7. cropped denim jacket
8. wedges
What's on your summer wishlist?
Also I stayed up into the wee morning hours getting this new layout just right. I think I have it where I like it and hopefully you like it too. :)

Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich
They are so easy, which is probably why grilled cheese sandwiches are one of my favorite things to make. I have yet to find a sandwich combo that doesn't work for them. I'll add eggs, avocados, tomatoes, deli meat, etc. and it's all a party in the mouth. ;)
So today, I thought I'd show the latest way I've been making them.

^ I sauté mushrooms and onions and add honey barbeque sauce for flavor.
^ While the onions and mushrooms are in the pan, I prepare my cheeses. I use a bit of sharp cheddar shredded cheese and some Brie. Brie is such a great choice for grilled cheese sandwiches. Well, Brie is just an excellent cheese choice for anything!
^ I sometimes toast mine in the oven, but I decided to do these on the stove using the same pan that the mushrooms and onions were in. If you want crispier bread, stick to using the oven.
^ I served mine with some potato wedges. Delicious!
Have a great weekend!

Also, to my contest winners- If your package is delayed, it could be due to a possible Canada Post strike. I know it is at the post office right now waiting to be sent. I will email you if the strike happens. Sorry about that!
