Niagara Falls Haul

Are you completely tired of hauls by now? 'Tis the time of the year for them! ;) Since I don't know when I'll be posting again, I want to wish you all a fabulous holiday season. I hope you have a great time spent with loved ones and stay safe! ♥ Onto a few of the goodies I bought in Niagara!

What I got from the CCO at the Fashion Outlets- Memorabilia and Cross-Cultural eyeshadows and Purple Rite lipstick.

Picked up this black watch at Target. I already grabbed the white one when I was back home in November. I really like this style.

Two nail polishes from the OPI Burlesque collection- Let Me Entertain You and Show It and Glow It! I have Let Me Entertain You on all of my nails with Show It and Glow It! as an accent nail on each hand. Really festive looking!

A big rhinestone ring and braided chain bracelet from Torrid.

I've heard such great things about Morrocanoil, but I've found it to be hard to find here in Toronto. EDIT: Apparently, it's not so hard to find. I only have my own experiences and I couldn't find it at most places I visited! :) I picked up a small bottle in a beauty supply store just to see if I liked it, because it is very expensive. I hate dropping a lump sum of money on something like that before I have tried it. This small bottle was around $10.

F21 accessories. The two headbands were only $1.50! The three pendents are huge statement necklaces. I can't wait to pick out an outfit for the turquoise one. Gorgeous!

I actually forgot to take a picture of one of the other purses that I grabbed, so a stock photo will have to suffice!

It's a silver bow tote from Target. I'm not going to lie...I saw the bow and had to have it. It's so roomy and fun, though!

One of my precious new additions to my handbag collection is this Mulberry for Target crossbody bag. They are sold out online, but they had two left of them at the Target near Walden Galleria. It's a good size for an evening bag with enough room for a cell, wallet, camera, and your makeup.

The best part of my Niagara Falls haul (besides Old Navy having a BOGO on everything in store!!) is this Coach Ashley satchel bag. I got it at the Fashion Outlets for 30% off. It's the factory version of the Sabrina/Sophia bags. I'm in love!

Happy Holidays!!

Florida Haul Pt. 4- Drugstore

I contemplated including the souvenirs that I bought in Disney and the massive haul of DVDs I bought in Target, but some of you probably don't care about that stuff. If you do, I'll be uploading them on Flickr soon! :) I found great deals on DVDs while I was down there, including Season 1 of Community for only $20. Score! This is the last part of my Florida haul.

I'll get to the stuff that I bought in Niagara Falls next. As a matter of fact, I might get that post up tonight. I can't guarantee how often I'll post between now and during the start of the new year! I'll be updating with what I got for Christmas, this month's faves, and so forth. They may just happen to end up a little delayed. It's a busy time of year! With that said, I know I won't have time to post tomorrow which is why I am going to try to do a double posting today. Hope you can stomach two haul posts in one day!

Not pictured are a few EOS lip balms (which I picked up an extra for my upcoming giveaway!) and another NYC blush stick that is also for the giveaway. :) I'll have a swatch of the lipstick and blush up soon. I've been using the L'Oreal anti-redness primer for the past week, so I'm almost ready to review it. I grabbed another Ecotools travel kabuki, because it is one of my favorite brushes!

I somehow forgot to include this in the group shot. I've also been using it for the past week, so expect a joint review of this one and the anti-redness primer.

I believe that is all I got at the drugstores back home and in Florida! I'm looking forward to reviewing it all. Do you have a favorite drugstore item that you could not live without? Please share!

OOTD: Feelin' Neutral

Thought I'd break up the hauls a little bit and do an outfit of the day post! I apologize in advance for the mess that is my living room. I'm in the middle of a "tidying up" session!

Everything is Old Navy, aside from the scarf and necklace. I didn't mean for it to be, but honestly I'm an Old Navy fiend. I should totally be a brand ambassador for them! The scarf is from F21 and the necklace is Marc by Marc Jacobs. And look at Jade finally being a good cat in the background. Off the camera, she's a menace. That does it...I'm buying a camera to stay on her at all times. ;)

Boots are also Old Navy. These have become my favorite pair of boots at the moment!

My beloved Marc bow timepiece necklace. This just has a way of completing every outfit. I recommend his watch necklaces. They are not that expensive, the battery lasts a long time, and they go with everything. I'd much rather look down at a cute accessory (applies to wristwatches also) than my cell phone to check the time! They are saying that watches will become a thing of the past, but I don't want that to happen. So sad!

Florida Haul Pt. 3- B&BW, JC, and BJ

My hauls from Bath and Body Works, Juicy Couture, and Betsey Johnson. I found some great deals. Outlets are seriously the best thing ever invented for shopaholics! :) I'm sorry if you hate hauls. It is that time of year, though! I assure you that I have more interesting topics coming up soon like: December favorites, best products of the year list, and worst/best dressed of 2010, etc. I also have a list of swatches and reviews to get around to. Hopefully I'll have a little something for all of you! And if you have any special requests, just leave them on any of my posts. :)

I got all five of the Christmas reindeer scents for 5/$5. Did I need more hand sanitizer? No. Am I ashamed to admit that I got these based solely on the adorable reindeer and the fact that they are Christmas related? No! ;) I always carry a bottle or two of anti-bacterial gel with me, though. These will definitely be shown plenty of love! I believe I got the two PINK body mists for 2/$20.

I think the wallet was $30. I really wanted a smaller wallet for to carry with my smaller purses. Most of my wallets are the long checkbook style ones. And you know my infatuation with polar bears, so I was really excited to see this charm in the store. I had missed my chance to get it when it first came out. I believe it was around $30, as well. Walking out of Juicy with two items under $100 is a huge success.

Just a close-up of the charm. He has rhinestones along his paws. Officially the cutest charm I own. :)

If I'm near a Betsey Johnson, I always go to her socks first. She always has the cutest printed socks! I grabbed the sequined leopard bag not only because I love leopards, but because it is huge. I used it this weekend for when I went to Niagara Falls and it fit all of my makeup that I needed. It was just under $25. It might be a little tacky, but I'm ok with that. ;)

I did cross the border once again this weekend while I was in Niagara Falls. Not sure if I'll show the stuff or just post it on Flickr. I feel like I might bore you if I post two travel hauls back-to-back. Though I don't mind if you just disregard the posts that don't interest you! <3

Florida Haul Pt. 2- MAC and CCO

I stopped in at the MAC at the Florida Mall and the CCO at one of the nearby outlets. I was pretty pleased by the selection at the CCO (Prime Outlets Orlando). The best part is that the sales associate left me alone to play around in the store. There is nothing I hate more than being asked twenty times if I'm "finding everything ok" while shopping. One time would be sufficient enough to let me know that they are available to help me! :P

At the MAC store, I picked up a 239 brush, 224 brush, and a bottle of brush cleanser. After finishing up my Sephora brand cleaner in my Project 5, I thought I'd try the MAC one. I'm building up my MAC brush collection a little differently and I might get some flack for it. I ordered my Sigma brushes quite awhile ago and have my favorites. With those favorites, I'm trying to get the MAC brushes that they are similar in style to. I'm choosing the ones that I use on a daily basis so that I don't have to clean them all as often and still have my favorite brush style to reach for. I must say that the MAC 239 is very different from the Sigma version!

CCOs limit each customer to three eyeshadows unless using a different method of payment, just to let you know for future purposes. So I used a credit card on three and paid cash for the others. It's a little annoying, but it's worth it! The eyeshadows are Flourishing, Love Lace, Fashion, All Races, Bough Grey, and Tempting. The MSF is Brunette from the Brunette, Blonde, Redhead Collection. The pigment is Mutiny from the Naughty Nauticals Collection. The most expensive item was the MSF, which I think was $20. Not bad! :)

Now the not-so-fun part of depotting all of the shadows for my palettes. Time to whip out my old hair straightener and get to work, I suppose! My step-by-step tutorial on how to depot shadows can be found here. And because I am obsessed with CCOs (Cosmetics Company Outlets), feel free to tell me about your best buys at them!

Swap with Amelia :)

I was going to continue with my haul from Florida, but I want to show the results of a recent swap I did with an absolutely amazing gal! Amelia asked a few weeks ago if I would be willing to do a swap and I jumped at the chance. My problem? Her box of goodies that she sent me put mine to shame! I love everything, but honestly I'm not sure that you can go wrong with Barry M and Soap & Glory. :)

Group shot! Minus the candy, because it's all mostly gone now. ;)

I've been wanting to get my hands on this for quite some time. The Fab Pore Hot Cloth Cleanser gets a lot of great reviews.

My first Dazzle Dusts from Barry M! #39 is Tan and #51 is Mushroom. I love love love the Mushroom one!

My love of mushrooms is possibly rubbing off on my makeup and nail choices! :D I told her that I really wanted the Mushroom Nail Paint. It did not let me down. It's a great muted brown!

A box full of pink things? Yes, please! Soap & Glory is one of my favorite skincare and bath lines. If you haven't tried any of their products yet, please do. You won't regret it. This is the Flatterbox. Included is 4 minis: Daily Smooth body butter, Scrub 'Em and Leave 'Em body scrub, S&G perfume (smells almost identical to Miss Dior Cherie!), and Clean, Girls body wash.

I don't think I'm forgetting anything. I am so happy to have participated in this swap with Amelia. Not only did I get some wonderful things that I cannot get my hands on here, but I had someone to talk about X Factor with since not many people here keep up with it. She's lovely, so check out her blog if you're not link lazy. :) Thanks for everything, girlie!

Florida Haul Pt. 1- Sephora

Here's what I picked up at the Sephora at the Florida Mall while I was on vacation. I tried to get the things that I either can't get or what always seems to be sold out at my local Sephora. :) Prices below are in US, because that is where I purchased the products.

pack of Sephora sponges- $4: There is always a need for sponges!

Sephora Dry Oil spray in Guava Passion- $8: Smells like Kool-Aid!

Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup Spray- $29

Illamasqua Blusher in Unrequited- $24

YSL Rouge Volupté in #2 (Sensual Silk)- $34: Hands down, the most expensive lipstick I now own. It's completely gorgeous and silky. And it smells fabulous!

NARS Blush in Albatross- $26: I've been wanting to try this for awhile now. I have many highlighters, but most have a pinkish sheen. This one produces a golden sheen.

I will be providing swatches and reviews for these soon. I'm going to be trying them all out at my holiday get-togethers and parties!

P.S.- On a personal note, my MRI came back clear! I still have to find a suitable treatment for my headaches, but there is no serious underlying cause for them! I'm still having health problems, but I can't tell you how relieved I am about the MRI results. Best Christmas gift EVER! Thank you to all of you that have been praying for me and sending positive thoughts. I'm giving you all a big virtual hug right now!

November Favorites

A bit delayed since I was on vacation in Disney World! I was planning to make an entry yesterday, but I just didn't feel up for it. I was feeling out of sorts. Anyway, here are my favorites from November! Instead of doing a group picture, I felt it best to show individual pictures. So I apologize to those that still have dial-up!

Couture Couture by Juicy Couture perfume. Juicy Couture always seem to have the prettiest bottles!

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturizing Lotion. This has been my saving grace as the cold weather rushes in.

The start of the Christmas season! I can never get enough of Christmas. I think January is my saddest month because I'm mourning the end of my favorite holiday season!

Taylor Swift's Speak Now. I love every single track on this album and it is so rare when that happens. My favorite tracks are Mean, Never Grow Up (makes me think of my brother), and Enchanted.

Sephora by OPI Studs & Stilettos nail polish

Korres Jasmine Lip Butter

Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics Liptar in Hush. A great pink lip!

Everything Orlando. I can't believe how fast my time there went. Can't wait to go back to Disney in two years! And the Wizarding World of Harry Potter was absolutely fantastic. :) It was my first time going during the Christmas lights and it was gorgeous. They really go all out!

Feel free to share some of your favorites!
