Small Haul

Currently watching: Family Guy
Currently waiting: for dinner to arrive
Currently feeling: sick with a migraine

While I was in Shoppers (a Canadian drugstore brand that also sells high-end cosmetics) on Sunday, I only bought two things. Actually one was partially bought with a giftcard from Christmas. Yay for giftcards!

The whitening trays were on sale for I think $39. I have been wanting to try them for awhile. I have a box of Crest Whitestrips sitting at the back of my sink cabinet that I just don't use. They did not work for me at all and just kept falling off of my teeth. I'm looking forward to trying these because I've heard that they have more staying power while wearing them.

I'll try to remember to take pictures during the week and have them for my final review of the product. One tray is for upper and one is for lower.

I always hear good things about Benefit's Hoola bronzer. I really wanted a matte one to try, because my other bronzers have shimmer in them. I don't recommend using the brushes with their boxed powders to apply them, because they are not that great. They do the job for touch-ups during the day, though!

I like that it is a lighter brown. I think this will be good for my pale complexion!

i had a question for you :D. i notice that you also show at allcosmeticswholesale.com...and I wanted to know if you would trust their mac brushes. I have been dying to get a reasonably priced 187 and I don't trust ebay at all. I see that this site has a gold handle one and I wanted to know if you would trust it?

Thanks so much! love your blog :D

I have heard so many good things about ACW! There have been a few bad ones where people claim that some of the products were not authentic, though. Also sometimes the products are priced lower, because the label or the packaging is wrong.

The thing with the brushes is that they are usually Special Edition ones on the site. They are a bit different from a regular MAC brush (not hand-made, short handles, etc.). You can find SE brush sets at CCOs, as well. You can get a whole set for just a little more than what one brush is selling for on ACW. I think that ACW is often overpriced with their brushes, honestly.

If that was all TL;DR, I do trust the site! If you're close to a CCO, check their prices out first. :)
