I've been experimenting lately. And since I've been sick, I've been having even more fun trying new looks out. I have nothing better to do while I'm stuck inside. I'm still sick by the way and I'm going out of my mind! :/ Anyway, here is a pretty (IMHO) purple and shimmery champagne look.
*TIP- I start with my crease color first. Since it's darker and can give you fallout color, I find it easier to start out with it and then blend my lid color into it afterwards.
So it's pretty obvious what I used from the pictures, but these are the products in order of use:
Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin
Coastal Scents 88 Piece Palette in the last purple shade
Urban Decay eyeshadow in Sin
Maybelline Pulse Perfection mascara
CoverGirl Perfect Point Plus eyeliner in black

Do you have any thoughts about e.l.f products? They are a dollar line on the internet. They also launched a new 3 dollar studio line that imitates nars kinda... so i was wondering if you had any opinions about it?
I just ordered some things there myself..which is why I ask. I know you mostly use mac and benefit and believe me...I have plenty of those (especially benefit)... but who doesn't like finding a steal? :D

Oh my goodness, I've been wanting to try ELF products for a long time now. Even with the cheap prices, I really don't want to pay the $15 S&H to Canada. So when I go to Detroit in a couple of weeks, I'm hoping to find some of the things in a store there. :)
I've heard such good things about it, though. I'm really looking forward to trying some of their things. If you think about it, please let me know what you think of your order when you get it! And steals are what I live and shop for. :D You definitely hit the nail on the head on that statement!

Oh wow! I had no idea there was a 50% code going around. That would completely cover the extra shipping to Canada. Don't know why I didn't check Retail Me Not...Putting in an order now, for sure! :)

So my order came in and everything is pretty great!
I got the..
Golden and Warm Bronzer- both have a subtle shimmer and are good quality. Golden is definitely for the fairer type, but I still like the glow it gives.
Candid Coral and Peachy Keen Blushes- Smaller in size but still have a good amount of product. More of a satin finish and good pigmentation. Peachy Keen is like mac's cantaloupe and candid coral is like coralista from benefit. I think they are good quality.
Lip Liner and Blending Brush- What a great product. The color is very natural and it looks great under a pinky gloss. The little brush is useful too.
Shimmer Palette- Has four good colors. Its creamy and thin which I like. I think it's a great highlighter. Has a white, peach, a toasty color, and a pink. Totally amazing for only 3 dollars. The brush is far too small but I use my fingers anyway.
Complexion Perfection- Decent quality, better for the fairer types I would say, it made me look a little washed out. The consistency could be better..probably just requirers lots of blending. Definitely don't get it if you have dry skin. You won't need it.
Eye Transformer- 4 white looking iridescent eye shadows in green, yellowy peach, pink and purple. This was pretty cool, it just adds new hues to your darker colors. Definitely just fun to experiment with and the light shades go well in the inner corners of the eyes.
Corrective Concealer- I had high hopes for this and it is a fairly decent product but if you have severe under eye circles like me, this is just not pigmented enough, They are creamy and light but don't give me the coverage I need. I still use it though since the colors due cancel and correct to an extent.
the dollar eye lash curler with the black handles- shockingly good for a dollar, I liked it.
the dollar line healthy glow blush in Luminance makes an awesome highlighter. Good quality, a little powdery so just tap the excess.

That lip liner sounds so nice! I was looking at it and almost got it. Dang it! Next time, for sure! So yeah, you sucked me into it...I just had to use the 50% off code. :)
I almost got that corrective concealer, but I'm kind of glad I didn't since I need full coverage. I'm going to the drugstore this weekend to look around. My skin hates me lately and I really need a green one for the first time.
You definitely told me about some of the things on my list for hopefully a future purchase. Now I know what to expect about those!
