RIP, my GG!

I apologize now that there will not be a true post from me today. I am taking a personal day.

In 1992, I lost my great grandmother on this day. I was the one that found her and watched as the medics tried to revive her. Then in 2007, I lost my grandmother on the same day. My grandmother was my "mom", so to speak. She raised me and was there for me every single day of my life and whenever I needed something. Not a day goes by that I do not miss her, but it is especially hard from July 7th-12th. Her funeral was held on my birthday, so you can imagine how emotional I get around this time.

So I'm taking today off from my usual posts to do what I need to do. I hope you understand!
